Welcome to Casa San Tommaso. A beautiful studio apartment in Praiano, situated in the heart of the world renowned Amalfi coast. Located only 7 km’s from the glamorous Positano and a mere 6km’s from the former sea power Amalfi, if peace, tranquility and a romantic get away is what you’re searching for then look no further.

The apartment has all you need for an unforgetable stay. It's fully air conditioned, a fully equipped kitchen area and a breath taking balcony over looking the coast. Simply cast an eye over the pictures to sample the views...which do not do it justice!

Praiano beach is only a 10 mins walk from the studio flat or short internal bus journey so should you just want to relax on the beach then you can. If you'd rather explore one of the many other towns then you can visit Pompei, Ravello, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, the island of Ischia or Capri which are easily accessible from Praiano.

Above all the coast is well known for it's beauty, history and great food.

The Campania region

There's so much to write about the area I don't know where to start. Simply put it's a beautiful location in Italy with a fabulous sea and great food. For a more indepth overview I advise a lonely planet or rough guide on the area.
Weather from May - October is fantastic although it does get very hot in August! 30 degress ++!

The Amalfi Coast / Praiano area

Emerald Grotto in Conca dei Marini, 5 kms. Pompei and Ercolano ruins, 1 hour drive. Positano,30 minutes. Amalfi with its Duomo and the paper mills, 30 minutes. Ravello and the breathtaking views from the Villas Cimbrone and Rufolo,40 minutes. Capri at 1 hour by bus + ferry departing from Positano: to visit there the Mount Solaro and the Blu Grotto. Sorrento,25 kms. The Greek temples of Paestum, 2 hours drive. Caserta Royal Palace (little Versailles) 2 hours drive. The magnificent town of Naples at 1hour and 30 minutes by car or 2 hours by public transportations bus+train. The Vesuvio, the only active volcano in Europe mainland, 1 hour drive. These tourist destinations and attractions can be visited on their web site pages.

British Airways fly from Gatwick direct.
Flight time is 2hours 30 mins.

“Stunning Studio Apartment with terrific views in a wonderful Amalfi town” The studio apartment and terrace are gorgeous and photos don't do it justice. It is immaculate with everything required to make a wonderful holiday. The very well stocked shop is just a few minutes away, albeit you have to climb 68 steps to get there! The town of Praiano is stunning and centrally located for exploring the Amalfi Coast and surrounding areas. Tried most restaurants and all were very good. The views are amazing from the terrace. We had a wonderful two weeks and will certainly be back.

“The best place for honeymoon!” It is the best place to stay on honeymoon! Ideal for 2. The one should be willing to go by foot, but it is not so hard.
