We stayed at Garden Villas at the beginning of July 2013 for about 10 days and it was really one of the best vacations I remember. Everything was perfect, starting from the communication with Stavros, the owner, who has generously offered to make arrangements for the ferry, to the warm welcome by his daughter and the nice surprise in the villa, to the impecably clean and well equipped house. It really felt like home away from home. The owners have obviously thought of every single detail. We appreciated that our house was right next to the pool so my son could spend hours in it and we could enjoy our coffee on the lovely veranda. Agia Efimija and Kefalonia are also a perfect location for a fun, relaxing and romantic vacation and Garden Villas are just the cherry on the top :) Thank you so much for everything! We would love to come again next year (as a matter of fact my 6 year old son wants to move to Agia Efimija :))

"Lovely villa, lovely village, beautiful island"
We have stayed here 7 times because we find the villa comfortable and in a good situation with lovely views; we like the garden area and the small pool in particular. The village is about 5 minutes away and has several good quality tavernas and a couple of bars. Nightlife is what you make yourself. The harbour is regularly used by the flotillas. The island itself is beautiful and green - different beaches to visit, monasteries, caves, and villages such as Assos and Fiskardo. It is easy to get around by car hire (available in the village).

"Wouldn't stay anywhere else!"
Our week here was fabulous for my husband and our 3 year old daughter. Spotlessly clean villa which is a easy walk to main part of town...even for a 3 year old. Terrific that provisions were in the fridge on our arrival and the owner couldn't have been friendlier. The pool was also immaculate and it was easy to forget about sightseeing and just lounge around all day! Love it.

"Excellent accomodation, beutiful views, attentive hosts"
We received excellent service from our hosts Stavros and Antonia. The villa was one of four all with beautiful views, situated within a five minute walk from the centre of Agia Efimia, where there were a very good selection of tavernas where we had lovely meals. There are 3 small supermarkets where you could purchase a good range of products The villa had everything one would need for a very comfortable stay, with plenty of inside and outside space. There is a small pool shared by the four villas with sunbeds and parasols

"as always an excellent holiday - perfection"
we have been staying at the Garden Villa's for a number of years now and regard it as home from home...it's our bolthole!! the villas have excellent views of the bay and mountains and are only a 5 minute walk from the village, the locals are very friendly and helpful. Stavros and his family are always very warm and welcoming and want your stay to be perfect. the villas have a private pool and lovely gardens, someone comes in everyday to clean, empty bins, change bedding and towels, there is always a welcome pack from Stavros to tide you over until you go shopping (including a lovely bottle of wine!). we regard the villas as excellent value for money and would highly recommend that people contact Stavros if they want a truly relaxing holiday!

"2nd Visit to Garden Villas & Beautiful Kefalonia"
This is our second visit to Garden Villas in Agia Effimia, we came here last year looking for a venue to get married. So when we came back this year to get married we decided to spend our first week here as we liked it so much, then go on to the hotel in Skala for the second week. Agia Effimia is a very nice little town and you get an excellent view of the bay & mountains from the villas. It is a short walk down to the town were there are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from all facing the sea, the locals are all very friendly and very helpful. We are planning to come back next year already as we love it here and we will be staying at Garden Villas again, as they are very good value for money. The villas have a private pool + gardens, Stavros the owner has someone come in every day to clean, empty the bins, make the bed and he always leaves milk, water, a loaf of bread and bottle of wine as a welcome gift. We found that it is also a brilliant base to explore the island as you have easy access to Myrtos Beach, Antisamos Beach, Assos, Fiskardo, Sami. Other areas are still less than an hour away.
