“What a View ... What a Beach ... You got to love Maui” I have stayed at Sugar beach Resort several times but never in this unit. Well this unit was amazing ! The view in this penthouse is like in no other unit I have stayed in.. Many units I have stayed in have this wall that blocks one direction of your view. I guess its there to give the other unit privacy but this unit has no wall and the views were just amazing. The unit was very very clean and the furniture was nice. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. There was more than enough closet and dresser storage for a very long stay. The grounds and pool area were well-kept and groomed nicely. We spent a majority of the time on the nice Lanai watching the ocean and enjoying cocktails while feeling the nice ocean breeze. The guests in the building are very conscious of the noise levels, even down by the pool. This place is ideal for anyone wanting a quiet place to enjoy their vacation. The owner went out of there way to think about every detail to ensure you enjoy your stay. They even gave us their Kihei Foodland rewards card # to use so that we could save money on our groceries (which we did)! Before we arrived we received several pages of information to help us enjoy our stay and all the information was so helpfull. You could tell the owners spent a lot of time gathering all this information. As for the shop in the main lobby where they have a local events booking concierge, they were very helpful with booking our luau, zip line tour, sunset cruise, and massage! They seem to be well-connected with many of the tourist activities on the island and more importantly, everything they described about our activities was 100 percent accurate. The Wireless Internet was very helpful, and I was able to sit on the Lanai with my iPad, streaming Hawaiian music on Pandora while watching the sunset and enjoying Mai Tai's! Not once did we encounter any problems with the wireless connection
