“Tranquil, hospitable and delicious” The property was a lovely resurrected two storey traditional farmhouse (still a working small farm) with a patio, bbq and farm kitchen. The garden was basically an olive grove which you could sit and read, chat, drink wine and eat. It's nestled partway down a hilltop in a stunning part of Tuscany with views over the surrounding area where you could spot the other hilltop towns. It was a brief hill walk on a well trod path up through parts of the farm and groves into the town. Coming back down in the evening with torches looking at fireflies was a highlight. You could take lovely walks around the area through the forests and villages going via different delicious treats on the way. Alvina and Umberto where as much an attraction as the area. From Umberto coming and getting a bunch of confused tourists to lead them to the property (its nestled away down some lanes) to Alvina's food treats when we got there and the lovely on tap (yes on tap) wine. We even got included in some of the farm duties with our little one Yasmeen being allowed to feed the donkeys. All in a thoroughly relaxing holiday made all the better by some fantastic hosts.
