“Great location, great views and great holiday!” We have just returned from our wonderful holiday in Bomba! Everything about it was great - the house itself is lovely and feels homely; the downstairs rooms have beautiful original floors and ceilings, they are well furnished and very comfortable. The upstairs is light and airy with lovely tiled floors and a superb bathroom. The windows and adjustable shutters are brilliant. But the jewel in the crown, so to speak, has to be the terrace! It is fabulous! The views are amazing, of stunning mountains and the beautiful lake. And it is so peaceful. The house is in a really good location in the village, the road is quiet, the bar and shops are within easy walking distance and people are friendly. The local area is wonderful; it is unspoilt and peaceful, there is the lake, and there are lots of hilltop towns and villages nearby to explore, and the beach (uncrowded and very pretty) is only 30 minutes away. We also visited ancient archaeological sites and castles which were fascinating. The week went by so quickly and we were sorry to leave! The holiday exceeded our expectations, and we would very much like to go again.
