“Home from home comfort and perfect location of Le Petit Chalet...should be Le Grand Chalet!” We were a group of 2 families, 10 of us in total, all accommodated very comfortably in the spacious 5 bed-roomed chalet with wonderful views of the mountains.
The chalet has a lovely traditional, homely feel and was perfectly equipped for our needs, especially the 2 living areas ideal for our large group, with the children retiring to the living/playroom to play Xbox games or watch DVDs from the extensive library. Le Petit Chalet was warm and cosy inside, with wonderful hotel quality white bedlinen, a seemingly never-ending supply of hot water for constant showers and baths. There is also a lovely outside space around the chalet that even in mid-late March gave us the opportunity to catch some wonderful sunshine!
This was our first time in the resort of La Tzoumaz, easily accessible from Geneva. The pistes and snow were immaculate, and best of all not crowded. We never queued for the lifts/gondolas, and were also able to access the free ski bus which had a bus stop at the top of the driveway of Le Petit Chalet. We were also very impressed with the quality of instructors at the local Ski School – classes were small – much smaller than in France. At the end of the week, there was a lovely party at the ski school to give the children their badges, and gluhwein for the adults!
The resort itself is probably not the place to go to for wild nightlife, but was perfect for us on a family holiday, with a nice selection of local bars and restaurants which were easily accessible on foot from the chalet. It is fair to say, however, that the warmth and home comforts of Le Petit Chalet won us over, with a majority of our nights spent with a warming drink in front of the fire – we will be back!

*The Best Chalet in Zermatt Voted by Conde Nast* - Chalet Grace - 5 Bedrooms
Love this Chalet and the View was Great
Although the chalet is a little further from town than we were initially looking for, Linda at Exceptional Villas had told me it was worth the extra 5 minutes’ walk. The chalet did not disappoint. Wow wow wow! The views are so stunning and the chalet was just perfect for our group. It was cozy and luxurious with a spa room on the ground floor. We had massages several days during our stay. Zermatt is a wonderful place and having been there in both Winter and Summer the town offers something for everyone in both seasons. I would highly recommend this chalet. …
La Foret Apartment, Nendaz with amazing views
Walker's paradise! Family friendly. Amazing views!
Summer Holiday review – just spent a lovely week based in La Foret, the apartment is very comfortable and the views are just amazing from the lounge and the balcony, the mountains are bigger than the photos, we had fun watching a few thunderstorms passing through. The train journey from Geneva to Sion is very scenic and relaxing. If you like walking there is so much to do in and around Nendaz. Local walks (pine cone path is lovely) and beyond. We got a 4 day lift pass and went up to Tracouet from the nearby Nendaz Telecabine which is well worth a day out. Also you can catch a bus from there to nearby Siviez where there are lots of cable car/lift options to take you up and then you can choose from an abundance of paths or simply enjoy the views. My top tip, get really fit before you go! Lots to do for families in Nendaz with sports and the open air swimming pool is lovely after a day out walking or just to relax by. The funicular opposite the Telecabine is very handy for getting up and down the hill! Recommend the Co-op supermarket and La Cantina restaurant at the bottom of the hill, great for a hearty meal after a long walk and friendly staff. You could stay here for months and not run out of things to do if you like exploring and walking. …
Apartment Bon Sejour LATE DEALS - 50m from lifts
Great apartment, great location!
The apartment is really conveniently located, opposite the ski lifts for Grimentz and the connecting gondola for Zinal, very close to shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is very well equipped, nothing was missing, its very clean and cosy and has a good layout for a family of 5. The balconies on either side provide a nice view (great spot for watching the fireworks on New Year's Eve!) Underground parking and ski room also really convenient.
The hosts were fantastic in their communications, Shirley provided us with lots of information prior to arrival, including a snow report, and answered all our questions really quickly. We will definitely be back, thank you so much! …
Traditional, Luxurious Swiss Chalet
Gorgeous and very cosy chalet.
Beatiful chalet with a very warm feel. We stayed here with another family and found it spacious and comfortable for us all especially as it has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms all of which were kept to a very high standard. The chalet was lovely and warm and gave you a cosy feel in the evenings...perfect for enjoying a coffee and playing card games with friends! Getting there from Geneva airport was so easy as was getting about on the train which stopped right outside the chalet. The thermal baths were only a short walk away which both us adulds and kids enjoyed so much. We would love to come back and stay again! …
Luxury Chalet with hot tub near lifts and village
We recently stayed at Chalet Nicola for a 7 night break as a party of 16 people - 8 adults and 8 children.
The chalet is amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. It is very spacious, extremely well equipped and the facilities are superb.
The steep hill up to the chalet could be a little challenging but the stunning views more than compensated for this.
I can not think of anything negative to say and would strongly recommend this accommodation. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to visit again. …
