“A simply wonderful apartment - so well equipped, comfortable and a sensational view!” We have been to the apartment for a number of years and feel so at home there. The owners have made such an effort to equip the flat with everything you need. There is limitless hot water running very quickly, which is a wonderful welcome after a day of skiing! The open plan kitchen and living room makes it a very social flat which very much suits a holiday. There are two very clean bathrooms and two comfortable bedrooms with very good fluffy duvets and linen. The view from the apartment is stunning and having meals at the table looking out on the mountains is wonderful. On our last visit we took our baby daughter and the flat was very suitable. There was enough storage for all the extra baggage and we used the high chair.
Crans Montana is our favourite resort - very good intermediate runs and good off-piste skiing.
The owners were very accommodating and responsive. Delighted to recommend them and the apartment.
We hugely look forward to returning next year!
“True Swiss luxury” We stayed at Le Petit Chalet (a strange name considering the size of the place!) in April 2014. Our apprehension at skiing so late in the season was abated by the sheer brilliance of the Verbier region's pisteurs, battling high sun and relatively high overnight temperatures, the slopes were still skiable in all regions, every day. One day in fact, we broke off and visited the thermal spa in the valley which was delightful - swimming and outdoor sunbathing with breathtaking views of the mountainscape.
Le Petit Chalet is a beautiful property, a true, traditional swiss chalet with every conceivable mod con you could wish for on holiday. From the easy and friendly booking stage, right through to final departure, it worked like a Swiss timepiece! The chalet is situated at the edge of the village in a very peaceful area with stunning views, you can enjoy the village life and ski the whole region of Verbier with great ease. I've stayed in ski chalets throughout the world for over 20 years and feel Le Petit Chalet ranks amongst the best. Competitive prices, true luxury and great location.
“Wow - what a view!” We would thoroughly recommend this as an ideal place to stay in the mountains. My wife, 1 year old daughter and I stayed at Arc-en-Ciel for a skiing holiday with a group of friends and their families and had a fantastic time. It is the perfect chalet for groups of friends or big families. It was always cosy and warm and had a great real log fire place too. It has plenty of space in the living area with a lovely big dining table with room for all, perfect for our group to eat, drink and socialise after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is very well equipped and we made full use of this, taking turns to cook every night. The extensive TV and video library had something for everyone as well as the games and books provided by the owners.
The accommodation was fantastic including comfortable beds and good bathrooms. The 1st and 2nd floors provide the balconies with the most amazing panoramic views of the mountains opposite and the valley below. It really felt like a 360 degree view of the Alps!
The slopes are within walking distance and then you can ski to the main lift in Nendaz from where you can explore the 4 vallees. It took a few attempts to negotiate the ski-in route back to the chalet from the piste but this only made it more fun! There was a good room for storing all the ski-equipment each night so it was ready for action the next day. The area around the chalet is great for the kids to sledge down and play in.
The village is close by for a night out on the town and the supermarkets are easily accessible by car to stock up on essentials. There are also bars and restaurants within walking distance but we tended to stay in the chalet during the evening, playing cards, watching films and drinking wine once the kids were in bed!
The property can be a little challenging to find initially (especially in the dark) but this is only because of its position to give it the amazing views, and they are worth it! A 4x4 is definitely recommended during the ski season.

Chalet Etoile Polaire
Superb Ski Location
Our family has recently returned from a great half term ski week. The chalet has plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and 4 children and is very well equipped. We came with prepared meals for the family and enjoyed use of the not to be missed Swiss Raclette cookers for the annual cheese meal. This year saw almost record snow falls so skiing for the family was excellent and grandchildren were very pleased with the Thyon ski school. The chalet is very conveniently located near the High Street and grandchildren and their parents were easily able to walk to the chair lift whilst grandparents made use of the improved free ski bus service from Les Collons to the Thyon 2000 resort and ski runs. This was another great ski week and this chalet is highly recommended by our family. …
Luxury Chalet with hot tub near lifts and village
Faultless, spacious chalet with lots of added extras; such as games room, hot tub and sauna. Only 10 mins walk from the town and piste. Would reccommed bar alt 1330 micro brewery for great burgers and beers and la cantina bar/restaurant for easy, reasonably priced food. For shopping bypass Pams and walk the exra couple of mins to the coop for vastly better variety and value.
Slopes great for absolute beginners with good childrens area and fantastic for advanced with lots of great off piste. For learners finding their feet head to siviez on the bus for a better selection of suitable pistes. …
Exceptional apartment for location, equipment, size and comfort.
The Adona exceeded our expectations. It was convenient for the centre of Zermatt, yet peaceful and excellently situated with a clear view of the Matterhorn. Just below the apartment there is a good restaurant, the Ambience, where the menu was delicious and imaginative. The staff could not have been more helpful.
The apartment itself was spacious, with balcony surrounding all sides. Rooms were large and well decorated with a modern touch, and so warm. Lovely after a day on the mountains ! We were a group of four, two couples, and we each had our privacy with individual bathrooms. Every possible piece of kitchen equipment was provided, including an excellent coffee machine. We could not have chosen better!
The owner, Anne, was kind and communicative in every way. Thank you. …
Villa Bella Vista
What a gorgeous villa with a beautiful view
Stayed in Minusio on the southern alpine border of Switzerland, sun filled the villa every day, hardly wanted for anything. …
Shangri-La - 2 Bedrooms - Matterhorn View
We loved the Location and the View was amazing
We have just returned from Shangri-La. It is such a charming property. The pictures do not do it justice as it has the most wonderfully calming feeling as soon as you open the door. The location is perfect as it is only a 5 minute walk to the center of Zermatt and if you don't feel like walking you can always call an electric taxi. But the best bit was the view of the town and of the Matterhorn. I could have looked at it all day. I can highly recommend it. …
Drakes Drum Ski Penthouse Grimentz
Very cosy and convenient chalet in very close proximity to the slopes and main lift station
Excellent location and easy to ski in and ski out with a short 100m walk to main piste down to lift station. Good skiing in Grimentz and Zinal and well worth trip over to St Luc with free ski bus - ski pass covers all local areas although going over to St Luc from Grimentz / Zinal takes about 45 mins. Chalet very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Excellent views over Grimentz. Owner left us some basic provisions which were well received. Local supermarket near to lift station (Coop) and opens until 7pm. Apres Ski is very limited and no night life beyond 9pm. However, the Alpina Restaurant was good and there is a great Creperie in Zinal (near the Zinal lift station). Skiing is steeper terrain in Grimentz but wider pistes in Zinal. Longer runs in St Luc. Ski and boot storage also available at the lift station at 30 chf per person for 6 days (5 chf per day) and only short 5 min walk from chalet to lift station / storage. Ski and boot storage also available at the chalet. …
