“Wow - what a view!” We would thoroughly recommend this as an ideal place to stay in the mountains. My wife, 1 year old daughter and I stayed at Arc-en-Ciel for a skiing holiday with a group of friends and their families and had a fantastic time. It is the perfect chalet for groups of friends or big families. It was always cosy and warm and had a great real log fire place too. It has plenty of space in the living area with a lovely big dining table with room for all, perfect for our group to eat, drink and socialise after a day on the slopes. The kitchen is very well equipped and we made full use of this, taking turns to cook every night. The extensive TV and video library had something for everyone as well as the games and books provided by the owners.
The accommodation was fantastic including comfortable beds and good bathrooms. The 1st and 2nd floors provide the balconies with the most amazing panoramic views of the mountains opposite and the valley below. It really felt like a 360 degree view of the Alps!
The slopes are within walking distance and then you can ski to the main lift in Nendaz from where you can explore the 4 vallees. It took a few attempts to negotiate the ski-in route back to the chalet from the piste but this only made it more fun! There was a good room for storing all the ski-equipment each night so it was ready for action the next day. The area around the chalet is great for the kids to sledge down and play in.
The village is close by for a night out on the town and the supermarkets are easily accessible by car to stock up on essentials. There are also bars and restaurants within walking distance but we tended to stay in the chalet during the evening, playing cards, watching films and drinking wine once the kids were in bed!
The property can be a little challenging to find initially (especially in the dark) but this is only because of its position to give it the amazing views, and they are worth it! A 4x4 is definitely recommended during the ski season.
“True Swiss luxury” We stayed at Le Petit Chalet (a strange name considering the size of the place!) in April 2014. Our apprehension at skiing so late in the season was abated by the sheer brilliance of the Verbier region's pisteurs, battling high sun and relatively high overnight temperatures, the slopes were still skiable in all regions, every day. One day in fact, we broke off and visited the thermal spa in the valley which was delightful - swimming and outdoor sunbathing with breathtaking views of the mountainscape.
Le Petit Chalet is a beautiful property, a true, traditional swiss chalet with every conceivable mod con you could wish for on holiday. From the easy and friendly booking stage, right through to final departure, it worked like a Swiss timepiece! The chalet is situated at the edge of the village in a very peaceful area with stunning views, you can enjoy the village life and ski the whole region of Verbier with great ease. I've stayed in ski chalets throughout the world for over 20 years and feel Le Petit Chalet ranks amongst the best. Competitive prices, true luxury and great location.

Great flat, fantastic skiing
I booked this accommodation for a family skiing holiday. Kieren was very helpful in booking our skiiing lessons and equipment, always prompt with his communication and very polite.
The flat is in a shared chalet, it has an underground car park, but access is via a steep slope so in the snow you'll struggle to get out .
The flat is really well equipped, plenty of everything, after a day on the slopes we were all ready to crash and watch a DVD.
There are 3 bedrooms - mattresses are a bit firm for my liking, and 2 bathrooms one with a bath and the other with a walk-in shower.
The flat is 5 mins walk from the ski chair lift, but you can also drive down and park next to the lift. Morgins is pretty quiet, a couple of super markets and a few restaurants. However, a quick ride down to Chatel in France which is a much more lively place.
As for the skiing, Morgins is part of Portes du Soleil region, it's a great location for all levels.
We all really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be looking to stay again. …
Comfortable, spacious and well-organised
While we did not get our original apartment due to an admin mishap, Guy seemlessly upgraded us to another, bigger, lovely apartment, and between them him and Becky were very helpful in terms of organisation and tips. I would definitely go back. …
Stayed before - everything very good

Chalet Etoile Polaire
Superb Ski Location
Our family has recently returned from a great half term ski week. The chalet has plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and 4 children and is very well equipped. We came with prepared meals for the family and enjoyed use of the not to be missed Swiss Raclette cookers for the annual cheese meal. This year saw almost record snow falls so skiing for the family was excellent and grandchildren were very pleased with the Thyon ski school. The chalet is very conveniently located near the High Street and grandchildren and their parents were easily able to walk to the chair lift whilst grandparents made use of the improved free ski bus service from Les Collons to the Thyon 2000 resort and ski runs. This was another great ski week and this chalet is highly recommended by our family. …
Luxury Chalet with hot tub near lifts and village
Faultless, spacious chalet with lots of added extras; such as games room, hot tub and sauna. Only 10 mins walk from the town and piste. Would reccommed bar alt 1330 micro brewery for great burgers and beers and la cantina bar/restaurant for easy, reasonably priced food. For shopping bypass Pams and walk the exra couple of mins to the coop for vastly better variety and value.
Slopes great for absolute beginners with good childrens area and fantastic for advanced with lots of great off piste. For learners finding their feet head to siviez on the bus for a better selection of suitable pistes. …
Exceptional apartment for location, equipment, size and comfort.
The Adona exceeded our expectations. It was convenient for the centre of Zermatt, yet peaceful and excellently situated with a clear view of the Matterhorn. Just below the apartment there is a good restaurant, the Ambience, where the menu was delicious and imaginative. The staff could not have been more helpful.
The apartment itself was spacious, with balcony surrounding all sides. Rooms were large and well decorated with a modern touch, and so warm. Lovely after a day on the mountains ! We were a group of four, two couples, and we each had our privacy with individual bathrooms. Every possible piece of kitchen equipment was provided, including an excellent coffee machine. We could not have chosen better!
The owner, Anne, was kind and communicative in every way. Thank you. …
