“Beautiful house in a lovely, quaint town” We love Twain Harte and have been coming here for years, but this is the first time we've rented a house. We're so glad we found The Roost! It's beautifully updated with loads of charming touches, and so, so comfortable. The specious deck was amazing, the furnishings and beds were cozy and inviting, and our kids were mad about the audrey Hepburn room and adjoining game room. The Roost has everything a family could want: plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, great location within easy walking distance of town, and privileges at Twain Harte Lake. We spent a lot of time at the lake! Tammy is an accommodating and gracious hostess, and her home is beautiful and comfortable. We highly recommend it, and only wish we could have stayed longer!

“Our Family Had the Best Time Ever!!” My family and I had the best time in Mammoth while we stayed at your beautiful Treehouse-II condo. The place accommodated the 16 of us very well and we enjoyed all the amenities. Being so close to The Village was so convenient, the beds were very comfortable, having 4 bathrooms was extremely helpful as you can imagine, the kitchen had everything we needed, the appliances were very nice. The place was very clean and comfortable. We we would love to come back to Mammoth and stay at the same place if possible. Thank you!!

“Never Wanted to Leave Can't Wait to Go Back” Everything about this condo worked for us: The proximity to the ocean and big pool was easy; having the quiet pool right next to us was a great option; spectacular views and gorgeous property. Inside, the newly rennovated style was so comfortable and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. Loved that the two bedrooms were quite separated and fully functional with closet space and private bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked and well-equipped with everything one would need. Proximity to golf, shopping, restaurants and the "hotel stroll" was very convenient. After only one week we did not want to leave and we can't wait to go back!

“A great location in a wonderful destination” All of our party enjoyed our 5 day stay. While the guys went sport fishing(with Tony from Santa Barbara Sportfishing, a real pro),the ladies went to Lotusland(a beautiful gardenspot). We brought enough fish(18) home for two meals and took advantage of a well stocked kitchen and grill. We went hiking in the Santa Ynez mountains just above the rental and enjoyed a view from 2700 feet or so. A limo picked us up and brought us to 4 vineyards. We enjoyed several fantastic meals, local Mexican fare,El Sitio(taqueria),Los agaves(with fabulous sauces) and Brophy's, a local seafood place with clam chowder that was as good as I've had anywhere. We went to the "Choir Mass"(0900, Sunday) at the Mission of Santa Barbara and the music was inspiring. I recommend this to any visitor to SB. We made good use of the pool, spa and poolside furniture. A bonus was the fruit(oranges, lemons and limes) on the tiered orchard that surrounds the pool area. I can't imagine a better place to spend time while visiting Santa Barbara. We will be contacting Wendy to make arrangements to stay when our daughter gets married in SB next fall.

“Incredible View!” We couldn't have been happier with this wonderful condo. We walked in the door and said wow!! Better than the web-site! The added extras all were wonderful...snorkel gear...binoculars...boogie boards...beach chairs..wonderfully supplied kitchen. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the sun set. Art and Sophie were great to deal with and very helpful. The Maui Kai is a small low key resort and we loved it.

“70thbirthday party” There is no better place on the planet. We had 5 couples and 2 single men come from all over the us for my 70th birthday blow out. It is beautiful, comfortable, classy casual and fun all wrapped into one package. Thursday evening it was Ginny and ne along with our out of town guests and had about 15 for dinner. When we got there Susan had set the table, provided fresh oranges, avocados, and flowers from the ranch along with plenty of firewood for the outdooe fire pit It was a+++. Friday evening family alsong with friends came and Susan recommended a caterer who provided fabulous Mexican Food for all. We used the sound system for dancing along with some family entertainment and had a party from 6-midnight as old friends and family from as far as Virginia got reconnected. Saturday we had a barbecue from a caterer that Susan also recommended and all was perfect. There were about 60 for a late afternoon dinner The party started at 2pm and with the exception of those who left around dark we enjoyer ourselves until around 11pm. Sunday was Super-Bowl and about 15 of us remained to watch the game after a long hike around the ranch along with a ride Susan provided around the ranch and I got to take some of my grandsons to the fishpond. I have had calls from our out of town friends since they left and several stated it was the best place they had ever seen for a family or special event. There will be reviews posted by some of them on the next few days. Also one of my oldest friends is in a wheel chair and he was able to fully enjoy the entire experience. Looks like our son now wants to get married at Cottontail.
