“Absolutely Awesome!!!” Words cannot describe how much we loved our stay! From the lovely ocean view, the sound of the waves, the well stocked supplies (everything you could think of),the friendly and helpful hosts, the gorgeous weather, to the relaxation and rejuvenation we enjoyed, this place is wonderful. The only negative thing we could think of was that there was no way to slow down the time so we could enjoy it longer! We explored most of the Big Island, but this was one of our favorite spots. We celebrated our 10th anniversary here and would love to come back and revisit some of the many beautiful places we discovered. We spent many hours watching and listening to the waves, watching for and seeing whales, and experiencing the ocean. Another highlight was kayaking across the bay with many, many dolphins swimming all around us! If you have a chance, I highly recommend booking this place!

“Idyllic, quiet hideaway with stunning views.” Perfect for those that want a quiet, cozy, beach cottage to get away from it all. Spotless, nice furnishings, close to Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, and San Luis Obispo and located in a charming, friendly neighborhood. Highly recommended, will definitely book it again.

“Wonderful- everything was excellent- Great Getaway =)” My partner and I stayed at Ron's two-story property out in Morongo Valley. We are a young couple and experienced travelers. For me, important things when finding somewhere to stay during travel: 1- Cleanliness 2- Usefulness of the Space 3- Privacy 4- Good Location 5- Comfort all this was 5 stars. The pictures are cute but do not do the place justice, as there were so many enjoyable details that looked great, were useful and comfortable. The bedroom area has a large closet. A table and chairs to just hang out at, a door to an outside small patio. Soothing stone floor, a super comfortable bed, large TV and DVD player- and a massage table that we didn't use but thought was a great extra touch. The upstairs area is Great- comfortable, with everything you need and great views! I think the details are what really made me happy- we expected a cool place, but this place far exceeded our expectations. Details like: Plenty of tissue, paper towels in the kitchen and cleaning supplies, soap, towels and clean linens, large mirrors, a little telescope, brochures to the nearby nature spots, recommendations to great places to eat, lots of pillows, great views, many tables. Really comfortable bed. Aesthetically pleasing place. If you're going to the area, its very close to Joshua Tree, Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Morongo Cassino, but in my option, much better than staying at a hotel. We went to a great antique shop, had great walks, took lots of photos and ate delicious food. It was the perfect way to get away without feeling you're in a hyper-touristy place with stress and overwhelming plans. Honestly, wish we'd stayed there one more day just to hang out in the cottage and spend time together in such a great setting, I wouldn't even have wanted to leave- very chill, very comfortable. Highly recommend it! It was a lovely time, and a very great place!

“Quiet and private and relaxing!” We've always enjoyed our stays here and always look forward to returning. If you want a simple, comfortable spot with lots of Port Townsed history and a front-row seat to boats in the marina and boat activities---as well as steps to sand and water---you can't beat the secluded front porch! The cottage is cozy and warm in winter storms, too. It really is the authenic definition of Port Townsend, and Jana, the owner, is accomodating and helpful.

“Dream Cottage Stay” Highly recommend staying here! My husband and I just had our second visit to Point Richmond and couldn't wait to return to this wonderful cottage. Place is so charming and had everything we needed. Quiet location yet within walking distance of some really great restaurants and fun shops. Impeccable service.

“Romantic Getaway” My husband and I stayed at D and E Digs this past October and had a truly wonderful experience. Donna and Eric are great hosts, available to answer questions when needed. This vacation rental was fabulous- full kitchen, seating area and huge bedroom with the most comfortable bed ever!. We found that there were a lot of areas on their large property to read, relax or enjoy a glass of wine in front of a fire. Their place is an easy drive to Yosemite Park, which is magnificant. We highly recommend this vacation rental!
