“The game room is over the top for kids!” This is a well located, well kept, large beach house that supplied the setting for a great family event. There were 7 of us and plenty of room. The kitchen sits just off the family room, where the huge dining room table awaits every kind of family fun from food to games to just hanging and reading a book! We loved the real wood and homy feeling of this place and hope to return again in the future to walk, contemplate all or nothing at all. Highly recommended for families with teenagers~

“Beautiful Hawaiian Vacation and Gorgeous Home in Central Locatio” We had the time of our lives at your home, Kona Leilani. To start with we were thrilled with the drive to the home; there were lush green landscapes with breataking ocean views. The property itself was easy to find and as we entered we saw an array of gorgeous plants from palms to bromeliads. Once upstair, sitting on the lanai, we are awestruck by the oceanic vistas. We could see 40 miles to sea and 20 miles north with a 180 degree view. The private beach, 2 min. from the house, with crystal clear water and schools of tropical fish. We explored "King's Trail, that ran along the beach which was in the neighborhood. The hike was wonderful; we saw beautiful lava formations and black sand beaches. The home was everything we could ask for. The kitchen is completely stocked with newer appliances. Tv, furnishings and murals really gave us a feel of the Hawaiian. As far as beautiful beaches there are several within 20 minutes of the house, as well as the City of Refuges, coffee and macadamia nut plantations. And only an hour south we went to South Point and the sweet quaint town of Naheluu. (We gorged ourselves on their famous malasadas.) The South Kona area is diverse and filled with countrysides. As guests of Kona Leilani, we got a 20% discounts to the manta ray dive and Hula Kai tour boat (with Fair Winds charters.)It was incredible to see those large manta rays so close in the nighttime water. On our fifth day, we drove north to visit several white sand beaches beneath the Mona Kea Volcano. We were given a list of suggested local restuarants which were 10- 20 min. distances. Captain Cook town was a pleasant stop as well. Thank you, Kona Leilani, for making our Hawaiian vacation one we will never forget. We will look forward to returning as soon as possible!

“Fantastic Condo, Location, Beach, Beach Park, & Farmers Market” Home away from Home definitely. Fully furnished home in a superb location. 40 Yards to Beach Park and only 70 yards to Ocean. Our children loved the playground equipment, swings, the protected beach, and the Condo Pool. We barbecued out most nights at the condo and the Beach Park right on the ocean edge. Fantastic Sunsets. The Farmers Market next door has fantastic local fruits, vegetables, cheeses, dips, breads, jams etc.. and almost all organic. Plenty of reasonable places nearby to eat. Times Supermarket nearby and the Farmers Market store almost next door. We are definitely coming back again.

“Beautiful house in a lovely, quaint town” We love Twain Harte and have been coming here for years, but this is the first time we've rented a house. We're so glad we found The Roost! It's beautifully updated with loads of charming touches, and so, so comfortable. The specious deck was amazing, the furnishings and beds were cozy and inviting, and our kids were mad about the audrey Hepburn room and adjoining game room. The Roost has everything a family could want: plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, great location within easy walking distance of town, and privileges at Twain Harte Lake. We spent a lot of time at the lake! Tammy is an accommodating and gracious hostess, and her home is beautiful and comfortable. We highly recommend it, and only wish we could have stayed longer!

“Our Family Had the Best Time Ever!!” My family and I had the best time in Mammoth while we stayed at your beautiful Treehouse-II condo. The place accommodated the 16 of us very well and we enjoyed all the amenities. Being so close to The Village was so convenient, the beds were very comfortable, having 4 bathrooms was extremely helpful as you can imagine, the kitchen had everything we needed, the appliances were very nice. The place was very clean and comfortable. We we would love to come back to Mammoth and stay at the same place if possible. Thank you!!

“Place to crush” It was first time for us visiting Hawaii big island. We planned to see ad much as we can in 10 days, and yes Big island did not disappoint. The condo has everything you need(towels, beach umbrellas, kitchen stuff, great ocean view, tv). Sauna and pool is available too.The beach is just across the street and got the chance to swim with turtles . Pretty close to Safeway, CVS, and Walmart, only Costco is further away but has the best gas price on island. If you are looking for luxury, updated place it is not for you. We didn’t mind much because we need just a place to crush for the night.
