“Simply perfect family holiday at Gondol” We stayed at the Gondol last August and could not wait to go back again this year. Everything here is just perfect for a family getaway. The self catering apartments are located around a large pool, where you can always get a sun bed! There are only 11 apartments (I think!) and we like the fact that it is not a huge impersonal hotel. You have peace and quiet but also get to know people around the well stocked bar if you want too! The food is great - breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are superb - thank you Angela and Aladian and the owners - Jane & Ali go out of their way to make sure all is good. The location is ideal, a short walk from the main road of Ovacik where there are restaurants and shops and where you can get the local bus to Fehtyie or Olu Deniz. You can walk in to the town in around 10-15 mins which is great for shopping but a but loud at night for us. We prefer the tranquility of Gondol. Thank you Jane and Ali for another fabulous holiday - the kids want to know when we are coming back!

“We would definitely like to go back to Kalkan Retreat.” This is an excellent villa with very good views out to sea to Mouse and Snake Islands. Our family of seven was easily accommodated with spacious en-suite bedrooms. The property is very well maintained inside & outside and is cleaned every day. The terrace outside is spacious and you can cool down in a good sized swimming pool or take advantage of the air-conditioning inside. We had fun playing table tennis most days and found the WiFi access very useful. There is an approximate 15 minute walk down into the town but most of the time a taxi back uphill is advisable (14TL and there were taxis that accommodated 7 people for the same price). There are lots of restaurants to choose from but our favourite was The Fish Terrace (a roof top restaurant with lovely views over the harbour and bay) which is run by Korsan Ltd who maintained our villa. They give a discount for people staying at the villa. When we ate at the villa the best food could be sourced from the butcher near the roundabout and the fisherman's shack down the stairs from the taxi rank (big fresh prawns for 2TL each). There are a couple of convenience stores within 5 minutes walk of the villa for everyday purchases such as drinks and ice-creams. The owner of the villa was excellent. She made sure we were provided with a welcome pack of drinks and some food items. She also arranged transfers to and from the airport (ENES car rental). We would definitely like to go back to Kalkan Retreat.

“A villa of luxury” Was staying in this fabulous villa with friends. Everything went to plan from an on time flight to being picked up by the smiling and friendly taxi driver arranged by the owners. The journey from Dalaman airport to Beluga villa is approx. 90 minutes but the time passed quickly watching the interesting and varied scenery. I was, on arrival, absolutely blown away by the villa, Luxury from top to bottom and what a huge villa. All rooms were spacious and well appointed . Outside was fabulous new furniture perfect in the shade after too much sun, The air-conditioning worked, the water in the showers was hot and plentiful and the kitchen drawers were as full as mine at home. We wanted for nothing. The infinity pool stretched towards the fabulous view over the bay. Everything was calm and peaceful and luxurious. The walk down to the local beach clubs was easy and, again, there was a sense of luxury. Entrance to the beach clubs was free and there were plenty of beds. The only payment needed was drinks and lunch if required. The ocean was clean and clear. Do take a boat trip. We chartered a fabulous boat and bay-hopped stopping to take the motorboat tender to see bat caves and the sunken aeroplane. Lunch aboard the boat was to die for. Fab Turkish salads, barbecued freshly caught sea bream and lots of wine. We couldn't have asked for more. Eating in was just as good. We spent several evenings on the terrace having a bbq and relaxing, watching the full moon and contemplating just how lucky we were! The cleaners came mid week to clean and change the beds and did a fab job. Kalkan itself is fabulous. Just a five minute car drive from the villa. Plenty of bargains to be had from the designer leather shops and great restaurants and bars. Couldn't fault anything all week. The taxi came to pick us bang on time and we were treated to soft drinks by the driver on the way there. Brilliant. Highly recommend.

“Spacious and Comfortable villa in a great location for a lovely family holiday” This is a great villa for a family holiday. Good location and views from the terraces. Very spacious with 4 double rooms (all en-suite). Great pool. Owners very thoughtful with information/service provided and how the villa is equipped etc.! Would definitely recommend this villa and go again. Kalkan is a great location too! With great restaurants etc.

“Fantastic!! You will not be disappointed!” We travelled to Kalkan at the end of September as 2 couples with 2 children under 1 and stayed at the Serenity Villa II. From the moment we made our reservation Tracey was very prompt and helpful to ensure that all of our questions and requests beforehand were dealt with smoothly. We were impressed before we even arrived which made us look forward to our holiday all the more. Our transfer that was arranged by the villa with Brave Tours also went without a hitch. Upon arriving at the villa you are met with a definite wow factor! The villa and its view are breath-taking and throughout our stay we never tired of it. Billy the property manager was there to meet us and was great at settling us in for our holiday and even brought us fresh bread every day! He answered any questions we had and was always only a phone call away, a great touch to receiving a first class service. He also referred us to a taxi driver that looked after us for the duration of our stay and he was a real find, whenever we called he was there in 5 minutes! The villa really cannot disappoint, with its pools, Jacuzzi and hot tubs we felt so relaxed despite having the little ones with us and we never got bored with a gym, childrens pool, and playstation and pool table for the dads too. The town of Kalkan really impressed us and was a beautiful spot. You are really spoilt for choice for restaurants all the way down to the harbour and we were particularly impressed with Kosk and Aubergine. Chilli's was great and café Leon has a great menu for a quick bite. The staff are fantastic with children too and bent over backwards to keep them entertained and/or help us enjoy our evening. There is also a nearby sandy beach which is also definitely worth a visit, the sea is amazing and very inviting! We also visited the local Turkish bath which was a lovely experience. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this villa if you're thinking of booking. The property speaks for itself and the pictures don't do it justice but the little touches really make it special too. We would love to return some time in the future!

“Heaven in Kalkan” The villa was everything we had anticipated and more. Lovely location above Kalkan, with beautiful sea views. Great layout, well equipped and beautifully decorated. We spent many happy hours lazing on the terrace and in the pool, the children also loved the air hockey and pool table! There was also lots of advice on the local amenities and how to make the best of them, which was extremely helpful. Fantastic local taxi service and home delivered pizzas were a huge hit. The town is a lovely mix of traditional harbour village with little cobbled streets and quaint shops, great restaurants and a brilliant night club - Mojitos! With a mix of teenagers and younger children, it might have been a challenge to please everyone, however the combination of the amenities at the villa and in the town meant that we all had a fantastic time. My favourite time was watching the sunset from the terrace with a nice cool glass of wine. Loved it!

“Villa Amycha is 5 star” The villa is lovely,spacious and has the most lovely views over the bay of Kalkan.You have everything you could possibly need and more.I would highly recommend have a chef to come to the villa and cook a special meal,we had a gorgeous meal cooked for us to celebrate a birthday,we choose the menu and it was all cooked at the villa and served by the chef,EXCELLENT!!!
