Jasmine, La Maison Des Fleurs
Lovely flat in the old city; great place for our family
Spent 4 nights in Jasmine with my husband and two children (aged 5 and 7), and had a lovely stay. Perfect location right in the middle of town, but also surprisingly sound-proof (with windows closed). Good-sized table for eating in, and the apartment has enough space to make it cozy, but not so small that we were on top of each other. Stairs are intense, but added to the charm. The flat may have been our favorite part of Honfleur. …
The studio is clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped, even down to salt and pepper, kitchen towel- all those extras that you usually bring with you! It is centrally located but parking is very difficult. We had to use the free car park 15 mins away. Aliette is a lovely owner who is friendly and hospitable and extremely helpful at any time.
We loved Honfleur and explored it thoroughly, eating extremely well! …
Beautiful little house in the heart of old Honfleur
Just come back from a very enjoyable week in this lovely house. The property was in excellent condition, decorated to a very high standard and with beautifully furniture. The bedroom in particular is lovely. The location is perfect, being just a stone's throw from the centre of Honfleur with all it's small shops, market stalls and restaurants. There is a great boulangerie just round the corner, and a Carrefour 5 minute's walk away for everyday items. We had great friendly service from the owner, Brigitte, all the way through.
Honfleur itself is a lovely little town which is a pleasure to stroll around. The Naturospace butterfly house is good for small children and the Erik Satie museum is weird and wonderful.
The only slight downside was that the property doesn't have a parking space as was advertised. In fact it's very difficult to get parked in the street and we often had to park a few minute's walk away. However, this is the same anywhere in central Honfleur and it's a small price to pay to be right in the heart of town.
We would definitely recommend this property. …
Attic Studio 29
an extraordinary marriage of contemporary design sophistication with traditional comfort and charm
A fascinating interior combining stylish, contemporary open-plan elegance and comfort with centuries old character, complemented and enhanced by a superb collection of original fine art prints and paintings, made this three night stay utterly memorable. The traditional timbered house, set on one of Honfleur's narrow, cobbled, medieval streets is a stone's throw from the historic harbour and town centre. Breakfasts of quality produce served with a smile, completed this great-value experience. …
