“A living example of historic France” As you approach the Ramparts gite from the town's square (friendly people and a nice cafe) you can feel the history surrounding you, the houses around you speak of centuries of lives lived among the beautiful rolling countryside of the Languedoc. From the outside it appears small but once through the door the ground floor is very spacious and well equipped with bathroom, shower room, laundry area and a very comfortable bedroom. Climbing the spiraling stone staircase you arrive at the second floor with another two comfortable bedrooms and a toilet, continuing on your way upwards you are rewarded on the third floor with access to spacious living area with a well equipped kitchen, dining and sitting areas, for us it was great to have access to UK satellite TV! But the piece de rsistance has to be the balcony, opening out to reveal incredible views over this beautiful region of Southern France - if you get the chance to visit the Ramparts don't miss it!
