“Perfection” We stayed at Petit Portail for a week last year and enjoyed every minute in the cottage/apartment. It was a second honeymoon for us in this cosy spot. We could not have asked for more - everything was provided. The neighbouring shops and restaurants were great. The local area offered so many opportunities. We are pleased to highly recommend this property.
Thankyou Linda for allowing us to stay at this ideal Hill-Top Provence accommodation.

“Convenience to Avignon district” Directions to finding the property were clear - howver, car access is limited. It sits on top of the hill adjacent to the church. The property had just been renovated and provided all necessary living, bathroom and kitchen/dining facilities. We shared with a friend. A small roof top deck provided the ideal location for pre-dinner drinks. Whilst Sablet is small it has the necssities of life - cafe, wine shop and an excellent local restaurant.
Its convenience to Avignon and the surrounding districts makes it an ideal location to stay without having to be in a larger town/city.
Best part was watching the sunset from the rooftop deck. Lack of parking means that luggage and provisions have to be carried about 50 metres.
Charming property, comfortably and tastefully furnished. Really well equipped kitchen (rare in a holiday house). The village was friendly and the shops provide everything you could need. We loved lunch at the café des Sports and enjoyed wine tasting at the Maison des Vins. Pippa was very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for places to go - we will have to come back to see more of this lovely region. …
La Tour des Anges
Well located in the centre of a charming village with shops and cafes, so we didn't need to take the car everywhere. Stunning house built into the ancient ramparts, lovely decor, and great attention to detail, the house had everything we needed. Pippa was extremely helpful with local tips for places to see, wine tastings and restaurants. We will be back! …
We have just completed our 2 week stay in Petit Portail.
This is our 2nd time here, last visit was 6 years ago. We have stayed in other towns in Provence before but Sablet is definitely our favourite
As during our last visit, Linda and Paul ensured everything we needed was available. They are great hosts
There are so many places to visit, close to Sablet, whether it is villages, towns or cities and don't forget all the Marches/markets
Thanks again Linda and Paul
