Apartments Ferdo are located on the Makarska Riviera, in the small place Zivogosce Blato, which offers an unique experience of the natural environment. The house is located in a blind alley with only a few minutes walking distance from the main pebble beach and the town center (around 150 meters).

Apartments have sea-view and they are fully equipped so your stay could be as pleasant as possible (air-condition, Wi-Fi, TV/SAT, parking place). This sea-view apartment is an ideal option for two adults + 2 children, three adults or two adults. It is on the second floor.

There are two pebble beaches in the place and numerous beaches and hidden coves around in walking distance (two camp-sites are right near Zivogosce Blato). Nearest shop is only 30 meters away, but it doesn't work in the afternoon hours. Shop that works all day is about 500 meters away.

Zivogosce

Due to geographical location, Živogošće Blato is an ideal base place for daily excursions to many attractive destinations. There are many places you could visit and explore with organized excursions or by yourself, so it is a good vacation match for people who want to spend their holiday more actively.

Natural surroundings are also ideal place for cycling or walking in nature (many paths for walking and cycling).

Here are the places you can visit:

- Biokovo Nature Park (20 km)

Biokovo is imposing mountain above Živogošće Blagto, that is annually visited by about 50,000 tourists. With it's pure nature, Biokovo has beautiful paths for pedestrians and cyclists, pleasant resting places and interesting remains of the past (caves with many fossil remains). Biokovo road that leads to the top of the mountain is 23 kilometers long.

- Rural tourism Hiking / biking trails Živogošće (1 km)

Živogošće Strnj is an old rural village with centuries-old stone houses that reflect the Mediterranean heritage. It is one kilometer away from Živogošće Blato (walking distance). There you can meet rural tourism with local specialties and recreate walking in nature by Napoleon road. The Napoleon road leads to another old rural village, Živogošće Murava.

- Omis and rafting on the river Cetina (60 km)

Omis is a beautiful town located at the estuary of the river Cetina. The town has a rich and famous history. Long time ago it was a pirate seat and center from where they governed the Adriatic coast. There, you can try rafting on the river Cetina, rock climbing and sea sailing.

- Boat trips to the islands of Korcula, Hvar, Brac and Peljesac peninsula

Island Hvar and the peninsula of Peljesac are opposite Živogošće Blato. Visiting those places, you can discover a unique blend of luxurious Mediterranean nature and rich cultural and historical heritage.

- Mostar (95 km)

Mostar is the one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is known for it's old bridge in town center. That area was listed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 2005.

- The Neretva Valley (40 km)

Delta Neretva valley is a unique natural phenomenon and one of the most beautiful regions in Croatia that contain the largest and most valuable remnants of the Mediterranean wetlands on east Adriatic coast. Five sites with a total area of ​​1,620 hectares has been protected in the categories of ornithological reserve. Thanks to preserved nature, this area is very popular for ecotourism and photo-safari which offers unique tours with traditional Neretva boat.

- Narona (60km)

Village Vid near town Metković used to be a historical Roman settlement called Narona. That sensational discovery happened during archaeological exploration from 1995. to 1996. when Roman temple from the 1st century BC was discovered together with 16 statues among which dominated the statue of Emperor Augustus.

- Baćina Lakes (30 km)

Bacina Lakes represents a beautiful area of clean and pure nature. They consist of seven lakes, of which six of them form a blue collar. The natural environment Baćina Lakes is the perfect place for various sports such as running, biking, trekking and paddle surf. There you can experience the perfect adventure holiday.

-Catholic shrine Međugorje (70 km)

Medjugorje is one of the most famous Roman Catholic shrines in the world. It became famous for the apparitions of the Virgin Mary which was first started in 1981, after which Međugorje began to develop religious tourism.

-Shrine Vepric (25 km)

Croatian holy shrine of Vepric is situated on the wooded hills nearby Makarska, at the entrance to the city. The whole landscape that surrounds the shrine looks like one of the most popular shrines - Lourdes.

This is one of the most visited Croatian shrines and inevitable pilgrim place on the path of spiritual renewal. Due to its natural beauty and peace, the shrine is visited throughout the whole year.

- Split (110 km)

The city often considered as "The most beautiful in the world" is more than 1700 years old. The town is under UNESCO protection and it is in the World Cultural Heritage register. Split has numerous cultural and historical attractions.

- Dubrovnik (80 km)

Dubrovnik is a city situated at the south of Adriatic coast and it is one of the most important historic Croatian tourist destination. In 1979, the city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Dubrovnik was one of the centers of Croatian literature and language development. Today, with its preserved historical heritage, Dubrovnik is recognized as one of the most popular world tourist destination.
