85sqm apartment near the waterfront Mattei where you site the Pizzomunno, huge white limestone, the symbol of Vieste. It located in a very convenient area where there are several grocery stores, including bakers, greengrocers, market and even tobacco shop and bar. The apartment has an entrance with a living room, a kitchen with exit to the balcony, 2 bedrooms, each with double bed and single bed (both with a balcony) and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The ideal place for a relaxing vacation for the ability to do everything on foot, in the evening, in fact, the old town of Vieste and the villa can be reached in just 5 minutes walk. Rich in restaurants and alleys where you can walk and enjoy picturesque views of the place. So if you want to spend a holiday in the Gargano sea and good food, this is the place to stay.

Ci teniamo a rettificare alcune cose non esatte indicate nella recensione: innanzitutto l'appartamento è al secondo piano di una palazzina che dispone sempre di parcheggio gratuito sotto casa, non è presente aria condizionata in quanto non necessaria considerata la zona, fresca e ventilata. Abbiamo da poco provveduto a rinnovare completamente l'impianto elettrico e sostituite tutte le tapparelle di casa. Infine la stanza d'ingresso, definita inutile, permette di usufruire della possibilità di utilizzo del divanoletto (in caso di ospiti superiori a 6), oltre ad essere un'ampia zona di ricreazione e relax.

Nel leggere questa recensione si nota senza alcun dubbio un po' di accanimento eccessivo nel sottolineare una serie di aspetti negativi della casa, la maggior parte inventati di sana pianta come ad esempio le problematiche dolosamente millantate riguardo alle tapparelle, ai rubinetti ed ai servizi igienici. Se ci avessero chiesto dei riscaldamenti all'interno dell'appartamento non avremmo avuto alcun problema a comunicare che non sono presenti, essendo la nostra una casa estiva che sorge a pochi passi dal mare, come tra l'altro si può facilmente evincere leggendo descrizione e caratteristiche dell'abitazione. In ogni caso parlare di mancanza di "correttezza" in merito da parte nostra è davvero esagerato e ridicolo, soprattutto se si considera il comportamento che i nostri educatissimi ospiti hanno avuto al momento della loro partenza, quando non hanno reputato "corretto" neanche avere la decenza di gettare l'immondizia prodotta durante la loro tormentatissima permanenza, inclusi molteplici pannolini della bambina pregni di escrementi che, inevitabilmente, hanno inondato la casa di un odore per nulla gradevole, oltre a lasciare il lavello con un'ingente quantità di piatti sporchi da lavare. Noi che amiamo viaggiare, oltre ad essere molto più obiettivi nella valutazione degli immobili presi in affitto, siamo soliti lasciare la casa che ci ospita nella stesse condizioni in cui viene consegnata, non fosse altro per buona educazione e senso civico...

Why can't I call Ivano (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ivano (the owner) a message.

If Ivano (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
