LAKE COMO, APARTMENT TO LET in the beautiful town of Varenna,
on the very front lake, on the pedestrian front lake walking area, in a quite position, we let a one bed room apartment with bathroom (shower), living room with one sofa bed (queen size), kitchen, private parking included, maximum people allowed 4.
Beautiful lake and mountain view, the position is strategic because you can visit Bellagio, Menaggio, Cadenabbia without using the car: the Ferry is 50mt from the apartment, you have shops, bar and restaurant, train station, Lido with beach and pool, all at walking distance.
Very easy access by train or car 1 hour from Milan.
From here there are also many roots on the mountain (ex to the Castle of Vezio, and many others).

Many people like to stay here even in winter, lake is beautiful even in that season and you can go SKIING to Madesimo, Piani di Bobbio, St.Moriz, approximately 1h, 1,3h

“Heaven on earth.”
The accommodation was superb in every way possible. We felt so relaxed and comfortable, with a very peaceful sleep each night. The owners were generous and very helpful. We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and we would definitely return as soon as we can. The views were spectacular and the ferry terminal was very close. The perfect place to stay.

“Perfect apartment with great views”
This was the perfect place to start our vacation. We were greeted by the owner on arrival, ready to give us information about the apartment and village. This apartment was very comfortable, clean and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. and had a few items to get us started.There were great lake views from the windows. Location to train, ferry and village was good. The owner was back at the end of our stay to give us a ride to the train station, even though it is easy to walk to.
“Great apartment in lovely location”
Before arriving in varenna I received an email from Andrea (the owner) asking what time our train arrived so he could meet us at the station, which the lovely couple did. This was very helpful with our bags and was a lovely touch. We were left a small gift on arrival at the apartment and told to help ourselves to the coffee available which was great. The apartment had a great view of the lake, and was really good value for money. There was nothing fancy but it provided everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfy stay and we would definitely recommend that people stay here.
“Clean and convenient place to stay”
We stayed one night in the appartment. It was big, well equiped, very clean, just in front of the fery station. 5mn walk from the city center.... Varenna is a small city anyway so yoi never have to walk much. We met the owner's mother, a charming lady! We recommand this place.
“Great location, great place.”
Fantastic view of Lake Como. Walk to the ferry to go to other towns on the lake. 10 minute walk to city center and many many places to eat. Also walk to local small store if you want to cook for yourself. Can't say enough good things about Appa Varenna. Loved it!! Hosts were exquisitely nice. Apartment is perfect. Don't forget to take a stroll along the walkway which follows the lake to city center.
“Don't look elsewhere!!”
This place was fantastic!! I am so glad we decided to rent Appa Varenna instead of booking a hotel. Andrea is a pure gentleman and was kind enough to wait for us as we arrived quite late. The apartment itself is pristine and very nice to live in. We stayed 3 nights and the location is perfect with great views. It's right next to the ferry, and a few minutes walk from most of the best eating places. The Villa M and C are about a 10 minute walk. We really loved the place and would absolutely stay again. Another HUGE advantage is onsite parking, which is a big bonus in Varenna. The place is easily accessible by car.
“Great apartment, good location and lovely views of the lake”
My boyfriend and I stayed in the apartment for 6 nights and loved it. The location is perfect for easy access to the train station and those all important lake views! The apartment has big windows in the main living area and bedroom and it was a treat to open them each morning and see the lake right in front of you. I'm big on cleanliness and the apartment was spotless. Andrea's mother met us at the train station, we didn't speak Italian and she doesn't speak much English but we got by-she is such a lovely lady and it was a nice welcome to Varenna. Across the street from the apartment you can rent sun loungers for a few euros each day and this is also a good place to take a dip in the lake. You can easily wander from the apartment along the lakefront and across the Varenna walkway to the cafes/bars. You can also head up the cobbled streets to the town square and visit the gardens of the Villa Monastero. As there were so many nice cafes and restaurants close by we ate out most nights but the apartment has suitable cooking space for making small meals. It also had a hairdryer and good amount of bath and beach towels. We weren't driving but there is plenty of parking space in the grounds of the apartment. All in all, so glad we stayed in this apartment and can't wait to go back to the beautiful Varenna!
