You’ll love Chez Mondy Gite, because its the perfect place to relax and unwind, with breath-taking views. Chez Mondy is in the lush Dordogne countryside with stunning views.

Close to the charming village of Varaignes with its 12th Century château & church, restaurant, boulangerie, post office small grocery shop.

Chez Mondy has many features of the local area tastefully decorated and furnished, includes all the modern day facilities one would expect from a property.

Conservatory kitchen-diner, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave oven, hob, iron, ironing board. Washing machine housed in the boiler room.

The conservatory kitchen dinner with satellite TV, Netflix, free Wi-Fi connection.

Sleeping accommodation

Bedroom 1. Double bed, en-suite comprising Shower, sink, Separate wc.

Bedroom 2. Double bed, single bed or travel cot, en-suite comprising Shower, Sink, Seporat WC.

All towels, bed linen, tea towels and pool towels are included and provided free of charge.

Chez Mondy has a patio aria front and gravelled area side with tables, chairs and a BQ where al fresco dining may be enjoyed.

The pool is 10m x 5m salt water system solar heated swimming pool and Hot tub. Shared only with our other gite Le Claud d'amour. The pool and 4 seated Hot tub will be yours to enjoy throughout your stay. The pool and Hot tub are set in a stunning location which enjoys almost 360 degree view, together with comfortable sun loungers, parasols.

For your further pleasure there is table tennis, badminton and boules, there are a number of popular board games available.

Activities in the nearby areas include Canoeing, Go-karting, St-Esteph beach, Country walks, Golf, Fishing, Cycling ( bikes not supplied ) , Antique hunting in the country markets.

Within a 30 to 60 minutes drive from the property are the splendid city of Brantôme, La Rochefoucaud, Perigueux, Limoge and the historic city of Angouleme, all with their own resplendent Cathedral, Château & Churches and wide variety of restaurants and night life are to be found in the area.

Ryan Air fly to Limoges and Bergerac. Bordeaux

Limoges airport is approximately a 1 hour Bergerac approximately a 1 hour 30 min Bordeaux approximately 2hrs drive to Chez Mondy. Car hire is available at the airport but normally cheaper hired with your flight.

Train lovers, Angouleme has a TGV station with fast routes from London via Paris and Lille.

Or simply drive via Euro tunnel or by ferry.

Susan & John Live at Chez Mondy and are on hand to help you enjoy your stay. We have 2 europian shephard were 1 year old june 2022. They are very gental and we try and only interact when asked.
