Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Surround yourself with spectacular scenery and unparalleled access to nature as Costa Rica accounts for only 0.03% of the earth's surface and has nearly 6% of the world's biodiversity. La Casa Azul's Spanish inspired architecture allows our guests to feel connected with the Latin culture. Though most locals are Spanish speaking by nature many of them also speak fluent English thanks to their 95% literacy rate in this country. Our villa is located in a secure gated community owned by many friendly Canadians. Costa Rica is also known for being an extremely safe country so you can explore local towns and beaches with great ease and confidence. Our villa is also dog-friendly please review our terms page regarding our pet policy.

Inside our smoke-free villa on the main floor, our open concept living space has a 4 person dining table, living room to enjoy a good book and a galley kitchen boasting granite countertop and full appliances and cooking utensils to make meals when you're not enjoying our local restaurants. This main living space opens up to the backyard with double patio doors allowing for cool breezes to come through in the evening while you enjoy the backyard. The second floor is where you'll find the three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

The backyard is the hub of this home which is why we chose to upgrade the space. We noticed that the culture of this country is to be outdoors as much as possible and why wouldn't you want to be outdoors with so much to see and do! We've added a large custom rancho with lights & a ceiling fan right by the pool for some protection against the strong sun. We added a corolina tile that is non-slip and will never be too hot to walk on like cement. For relaxing or lounging we have a 6 seater dining table, lounge chairs, casual chairs, a

BBQ, private pool surrounded by 8' privacy hedges.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact La Casa Azul (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send La Casa Azul (the owner) a message.

If La Casa Azul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
