Alagana House, Antigua - a hillside retreat with panoramic views of Falmouth Harbour and surrounding hills.  Alagana derives its name from the Amerindian word for a golden yellow tropical apple that is said to have grown in abundance in Antigua in the 1800s.  
As one of the original villa properties located on the island, this delightful and comfortable home with 3 bedrooms boasts high ceilings and even higher views across to the stunning landscape of both Falmouth & English Harbour.   It has a plantation house style feel, with high ceilings, wide shady terraces and cool interiors. The villa is spread over two floors; the walls are decorated with an array of original artwork with a Caribbean and Yachting theme.  It is spacious yet intimate. Suitable for mature families, groups of friends, couples, and honeymooners.
The hub of the house is the large and inviting open-plan kitchen with top quality appliances and loads of space for culinary magic!  Enjoy your meals on the shaded terrace or in the cool breeze or air conditioned interiors.  
Lay back and bask in the warm Caribbean sunshine or take a refreshing shower in the outdoor facilities, the pool deck is a space you’ll not want to leave in a hurry!
There are 3 bedrooms that sleeps up to 6 guests and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Two of them are upstairs, located on wings either side of the living area, both then with interior access.  The master bedroom has a four poster ‘plantation style’ king-size bed and is spacious, light and airy, a small balcony over looks the harbour.  The second bedroom has the same features and lay out, a king size bed, balcony that leads into the garden and en suite bathroom.  The 3rd and largest bedroom is located downstairs and may be accessed without disturbing the upper floor. The en suite bathroom has a large rain shower head, bring your very own rain cloud to the bathroom and turn the average shower into a great shower. For those who like to keep abreast of business this large bedroom also has a desk and is very private with doors leading onto its own sun terrace.
Quality bathroom products allow guests to pamper themselves and when it’s time to hit the beach, guests can go armed and ready with the villa beach towels.   The infinity pool keeps you cool and the gentle breeze rolling off the hill sides fills the air with a sense of calm.
Awaken to the sound of birdsong in the trees and sunshine filling the sky.  Melt into the outdoor day bed and get lost in your favorite book, Alagana boasts many versatile outdoor areas ensuring there’s something for everyone. The rental rates include : Welcome upon arrival and villa orientation, housekeeping service 2 days per week, pool technician weekly, gardener regularly, villa manager on call and utilities (water, electricity, BBQ gas, WiFi internet coverage). Provisions and staff gratuities are not included.
Getting to Alagana House : A local representative will meet the guests at the airport where their rental car will be waiting for them, and then escort them to the villa.
