Set on the banks of La Dordogne river, La Marcillande offers a beautiful balance between serenity, activity and luxury, though the centre of the bustling, medieval village of St. Cyprien is only 2kms away, making it a perfect base for a family holiday.

The outdoor pool is shared between our guests from the Grand Maison and our three Cottage, La Marcillande, L'Enea Terrasse and La Gardonnette and set in spacious, private gardens, all of which you have access to. Our estate is collectively known as Moon River sur-Dordogne.

With its entrance facing the Dordogne river, Cottage La Marcillande (116sqm-1236sq ft.) sleeps up to 8 guests, including a large open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the private, well furnished terrace to relax and barbecue. It has 3 large bedrooms on the second level (1st floor). one large bathroom (tub and shower) and a separate toilet room plus an additional toilet and shower room.

Virtually steps from your door, the Dordogne calmly flows and leads you to enjoy amazing views as you stroll the peaceful hiking trails that begins from our estate. An easy 15 minute walk to the village centre of Saint Cyprien, allows easy access to all stores and cafes. The Sunday Farmers Market brings you all the best natural produce the area has to offer.

Hello Dorothy, Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review and its great to see that you enjoyed your stay.here. Just so you know, all three cottages are under new ownership now and we're in the process of upgrading all of them so we can offer all of our guests even more comfort and convenience. All will be ready by June 2nd 2018. Also, the Grande Maison is being completely refurbished and upgraded to enable up to 12 guests to stay in it. This will be ready for guests from August 2018, so watch this space!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Kate (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
