Welcome to Le Petit Gite

Our wonderful 1 bedroom Gite in a 300 year old stone house at the top of the village of Saint Cyprien in the magical Dordogne Region of Southwest France, where castle are around the corner, canoeing on the river is so easy and fun, the food is amazing and the cycling is some of the best in France (Tour de France here 2017).

Open and airy our Gite has a kitchen, outdoor private terrace with table and chairs, a large comfy king size bed and a bottle of local wine which awaits your visit. Towels and linens are included.

The wonderful village of Saint Cyprien is a 3 minute walk, passing the 13th century Abbey.

The Area:

We are 6 minutes to the Castle at Beynac 10 minutes to the Castle at Castlenaud and 8 minutes from Chateau Les Millandes the home of Josephine Baker. Close by (10 minutes) the prehistoric town and museum of the cave men drawings at Les Ezyes what more could you ask for? Wait there is more... village markets abound a big one on Saturday mornings in Sarlat (15 minutes) and weekly on Sunday and Wednesday in Saint Cyprien. Many others within a short distance there is a market around for every day of the week!

PLEASE NOTE we want you to be happy here so ... this house is on a hill at the top of an ancient village, there are hills up and down to the house and parking area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
