“What a divine tranquil view over the lake”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2016

This is the ideal place if you want peace and quiet. Lovely walks around the lake and even better if you are a fisherman. Perfect for anyone that likes walking, running or biking (off road) but is not looking for challenging terrain. The house itself is very clean and perfect for 4. The owners are very helpful and pleasant.

Thankyou so much for the very kind review and we wish you all the very best of luck in the challenging weekend ahead of you ! Safe journey home.

“Beautiful location”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2016

Very comfortable accommodation in stunning surroundings, resident herons and kingfisher on the lake.Hosts Angie and John very helpful with local knowledge. Secure parking on driveway. Good bar and restaurant within 5mins walk. Plenty to do ,walks, fishing and cycling .

Thanks for the good review and glad the kingfishers obliged as there must be a new family just below the house ....so pleased to meet 4 lovely people and thank you all so much in leaving the flat so clean and tidy! Much appreciated.

“Wonderful Lakeside Experience”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2014

Situated in the centre of the Troncais forest upon a fishing lake which is ideal for watching wildlife and fishing this is a highly recommended short or long stay holiday option. We spent a very comfortable fortnight in this spacious apartment. All the equipment and facilities you need are available and the hosts are very kind and accommodating. The location is wonderful with excellent wildlife including hoopes, golden orioles, black kite, firecrest, kingfishers and a range of woodpeckers and other birds of prey. In the local area towns like Montlucon and Herisson are delightful with medieval market places and ancient churches. A fabulous holiday option and highly recommended.

Lovely review, thank you so much and a pleasure to accommodate such appreciative guests.will be delighted to welcome you to return ,perhaps in spring or autumn as the wildlife picture is forever changing with the seasons.
