It is centrally located, only one minute from a blue flag beach and the harbour is less than a ten minute walk, where there are an excellent choice of international restaurants, including traditional Cypriot cuisine, exclusive jewellers selling unique designs and beautiful leather goods. The newly built Kings Avenue Mall next door boasts upmarket retail shops, a great choice of eateries to satisfy all palettes, a supermarket and a cinema.

The penthouse has a magnificent shared pool, secure private parking, as well as security gates to the entrance of Queens Gardens.

It is furnished with a leather suite seating 6 people, a leather lamp table, a 37" plasma T.V with freeview, WIFI, CD Player and play station (on request). The dining area has a glass dining table with seating for 6 people. Patio doors alongside it overlook the gardens and swimming pool from the balcony. The open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, faces the dining area and lounge. It is fully equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine.

Off the dining area, there is a hall which leads to the three double bedrooms. The master bedroom is tastefully furnished with a queen sized bed, dressing table, mirror and exceedingly generous wardrobe space. The en-suite, fully tiled, is spacious with a bath and over head shower, wash basin, mirror and toilet. The balcony overlooks the gardens and swimming pool, and has a table and chairs to sit and relax whilst watching the world go by.The other 2 bedrooms, furnished exactly the same as the master bedroom, have two single beds each, which can be pushed together, again, each with generous wardrobe space. They share a fully tiled bathroom with a bath and over head shower, wash basin and toilet. They also share an extensive balcony with two tables and chairs and a view overlooking the Old Town and a distant view of the mountains.

Behind the lounge is a spiral staircase leading to the private roof terrace, complete with a barbecue, sun-loungers and stunning views overlooking the gardens, fountain, pool and mountains. Heaven!

The Paphos District

Paphos is probably the most appealing and beautiful part of Cyprus to visit since it is has historical places of interest, as well as a bustling town with plenty of amenities on offer. The climate is warm and sunny all year, even during the winter. Temperatures range from 18 degrees in the winter to 32 degrees in the height of the summer.

Paphos Airport is only a 20 minute drive to Queens Gardens. The apartment is situated in Tomb Of The Kings Road, a central location to every amenity available. Next door is the newly built KIngs Avenue Shopping Mall, There are plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks, internet cafes, hairdressers, beauty salons, pharmacies and a medical centre, all within walking distance. The main local hospital is a very short drive.

The beach, (a blue flag beach) is across the road, a couple of minutes walk away.

The main tourist area by the harbour, is a 15 minute walk, where there is free parking. There is a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars and shops along the harbour. If you head to the right from the harbour, you can walk around the Marina and see the Old Roman Fort.

Paphos Waterpark and Go-Karting are located on the other side of the tourist area, past all the 5 star hotels, Annabelle, Alexander the Great etc. (These are the other side of Paphos to the east)

Boat trips and boat hire are from the harbour.

Coral Bay is a small resort further up the coast, with one of the longest and finest stretches of golden sand in the area. It has excellent watersports. Turn right out of the apartment and continue up the Tomb Of The Kings Road. As you leave Paphos, after approximately 15 minutes, you will see a big bay on your left where the sea is very close to the road. Just past there, as it becomes built up again, turn left at the crossroads, this is Coral Bay. Go past the shops and bars and as you go down the hill, the main public beach is on your left. If you prefer a beach which is less busy, continue straight on and take the first left turn. You will see this beach next to a big hotel.

The Mosaics Of Paphos, houses mosaics dating back to the Roman times - they are a major historical treasure and well worth a visit.

The Sea Caves and Akamis Peninsula can be reached by going straight on at the crossroads mentioned in the previous paragraph. After 10 minutes you come to St Agios Georgios (St Georges Church), this is a pretty little fishing hamlet with a small quiet beach. You can also go to the Sea Caves by boat from Paphos harbour. From here you enter the Akamis Peninsula which is a remote rocky national park, a beautiful area with a rugged coastline. A 4x4 is recommended for the unmade roads. It is very quiet, a contrast from the lively Paphos.

Troodos Mountains, which are further afield, are very beautiful with pine forests and stunning views. It is also recommended to visit Kykkos Monastery, spendidly situated on a sprawling area of land. Inside the ceilings and walls are decorated with the most beautiful, intricate mosaics ever seen. Head towards Limassol (East) and then head off left. It is recommended to purchase a map for directions.There is a motorway now, which speeds up the journey. If you continue, you could go as far as Platres, also in the mountains.
Petra Tou Romeo - the most beautiful place on this earth! Drive east past the airport for about 15 minutes. You will pass a couple of golf course developments, one called, The Secret Valley and the other Aphrodite Hills. At this point, you are able to pull up on the side of the road and survey the stunning scenery. A little further, you will come to Petra Tou Romeo where there is a car park and a cafe to buy some cold drinks, snacks and ice-cream. You can walk under the road, and across to the famous spot. This is the "place of romance" since in ancient Greek mythology, it is said that Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, rose out of the sea! It has the most magical quality about it ,the sea is turquoise and clear, and the sun glistens off the rocks. It gives you an inner feeling of peace and tranquillity!

Queens Gardens

Queens Gardens is on the fringe of the tourist area, at the beginning of the Tomb Of The Kings Road. It is an ideal location for wedding guests to stay. If you turn right out of the apartments, there are many restaurants within a short walk. including some traditional Greek restaurants with 'Greek Nights' which have dancing, music and a set menu including local wine. It is great fun and an enjoyable experience.

A little further along on the corner of the first set of traffic lights, is an upmarket Chinese restaurant called Phuket, serving mouth watering dishes.

Another Chinese, highly recommended, is on Poseidonis Ave (the road along the seafront). If you park at the big harbour car park and walk with the sea on your right, you will find The Imperial, it is above a Brazilian restaurant. It is a very classy restaurant, with views across the harbour area. The food is exquisite and is well favoured by the locals! Be prepared to queue for a table.

The Kings Avenue Mall has TGI Fridays, Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Burger King, Imperial Wok, Wagamamas, Café Nero, Costa Café plus many more.

Shops -The KIngs Avenue Shopping Mall is next to the apartment with the Carrefour supermarket and many exclusive retail outlets. A bakery selling delicacies, a chemist, numerous banks as well internet cafes are all within the immediate area.
Drink - Local beers brewed on the island are Keo and Carlsberg export, these are served in all the Tavernas but Guiness and some bitters can be found at the English pubs. Keo also do wines, and Aphrodite is a local white wine. Most international drinks can be bought from bars in the local area.

Entertainment - A multi screen cinema in the KIngs Avenue Mall next to the apartment.

Local activities as mentioned previously , include the Municipal blue flag beach, hiring bikes, golf, horse-riding, water-sports, go-karting, quad biking, boat rides and lots of sight seeing.

“Perfect location - excellent pool - spacious apartment”

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed wall to wall sunshine the whole time we were there. My day usually started out up on the roof terrace with cup of tea and my book before everyone else got up. We enjoyed the afternoon sun on the back balcony and of course the pool all day. We found loads of great places to eat and drink in the neighbourhood and everything was so easy to reach. It is an ideal spot. A fabulous shopping centre is currently being built at the back of the apartment. Anyone wanting to book this apartment should NOT let it put them off. They do start early in the morning (around 6.30) but my daughter managed to sleep through that and I could hear it whilst up on the roof but it really didn't spoil my enjoyment at all. The rest of the apartment far makes up for the small morning disturbance. Another thing worth mentioning is the lovely blue flag beach, directly across the road.That was a lovely surprise. As was the walkway from that beach into the harbour, following the coast. I've mentioned all this (plus the restaurants we went to) in the guest book in the apartment. There is a fantastic range of superb restaurants all on the same road as the apartment and the walk into the harbour is less than 10 minutes. Paphos town centre with a Marks and Spencer is 2 km up the hill (we took the car but I guess it is a 30 minute uphill walk). Lidl is a 5 minute drive away and the Coop is 10 mins walk. There is a fantastic bakery on the opposite side of the road and when that shopping centre opens in October - wow! This is going to be the place to be. The pool is fabulous. It's not heated but it is really warm (we were there end of April). There are loads of very clean sunbeds with soft cushions. What are the downsides? Don't know really. On first arrival the apartment comes across as being a bit "sparsely" decorated because it is so roomy and the decor is kept to a minimum to keep it cool, uncluttered and clean looking. The kitchen is simple (no dishwasher!) but extremely well stocked with lovely pans and crockery. The water is constantly hot and the showers are a bit typical of what you can expect in Southern Europe - not as strong a spurt as we enjoy here but better than a lot of the places we have been to lately! Great wardrobe space in all 3 big bedrooms. We hired a car because we couldn't get a flight to Paphos so came from Larnaca (very easy 1.5 hour drive along the coast road) but you really don't need a car here. If you do have one there is a garage space under the building, local municipal carparks are cheap (EUR 1 a day) and there is so much to do on the island! A tip for anyone coming in to Larnaca - Paphos is not signposted from the airport you have to follow Lemassos signs. We call it Limassol but you won't see Limassol signs at the airport or on the road - it's called Lemassos over there!!! We really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this apartment. It is very good value for money.

The appartment is well equipped and in a great location near to Paphos Harbour and a very easy bus journey to Coral Beach and other surrounding areas. We are a family of 5 and found that we had ample space with the large bedrooms, balconies and excellent roof terrace. The bus service is superior to ours in the UK and runs frequently. The price of the bus is ridiculously cheap and massively outweighs the cost of a taxi or hire car. We will definitely be returning to this appartment as it ticks all the boxes.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at this apartment. Six of us stayed as were in Cyprus for family wedding. Everything is just as shown and described. Exceptionally clean, very spacious and everything needed for a perfect holiday. The lovely Roof terrace and large balconys are amazing too!! The apartment is in a great location. Within walking distance to the Harbour + main Bar Street and lots of lovely Restaurants and bars on your doorstep on the Tomb of Kings Road. Also great bus network from outside apartment too. Swimming Pool absolutely great, clean and nice and quiet to laze around on your lilo. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and was a pleasure dealing with Rena who makes the booking process so quick and easy. Many Thanks for the use of your apartment Rena, will definately be returning at some point!

Spacious, modern Mediterranean style accommodation in a central location in the heart of lovely Paphos. An abundance of local bars and restaurants are waiting right on your doorstep, or a 10 minute walk and you will find yourself in the bustling Paphos Harbour, just take your pick! The apartment is bright, beautifully furnished and fitted out to a very high standard, including the all important air conditioning! Make the most of the sun soaked, private roof terrace accompanied with a traditional Cypriot style BBQ - all whilst enjoying magnificent views of the surrounding area and a stunning view of the evening sun-set. Special thanks to the owner Rena, she made the booking process especially easy with her prompt and helpful communication from day one, making for a very smooth and relaxing holiday!

Just returned from a one week stay in this beautiful spacious pent house apartment and will certainly be returning. The apartment is extremely large and well equipped even to the thoughtful plastic wine glasses to take out on to the spacious balconies or up on to the roof patio with it's splendid views, happy memories of sitting their sipping our night cap, and not a mossy in sight. Queens Gardens is a lovely well maintained complex with a large pool and lots of beds and sun shades. The pool is well maintained and extremely warm in June, beautiful! We flopped on a sun bed every day as it was an extremely hot week, the most effort we made was to stroll accross the road for refreshments under the shade at Ben's Bar, he does a lovely all day breakfast, or a range of home cooking dishes. Queens Gardens is ideally situated, a stroll down to the Harbour or along theTomb of Kings Road to numerous Bars, Restuarants, Super Markets etc. yet very private and extremely quiet. I would agree with previous comments, the web site does not do this wonderful apartment justice. You need to visit and experience it for yourself. We will be back.

This was our second visit to this apartment and we've already booked our flights for our third later this year! The owners are always extremely helpful, efficient and as flexible as they can be.. They even arranged our airport transfer and some groceries for our arrival! As usual everything was scrupulously clean and all rooms including the kitchen and bathroom well kitted out - they really seem to have thought of everything. The apartment is huge and still seemed so though when two sets of friends joined us later in our holiday. There are amazing views from all three balconies that overlook the gardens and pool, Ooh nearly forgot to mention the fabulous roof terrace, where we had many barbecues and much wine as well as more private sunbathing.Gorgeous place to watch sunsets too. Finally, though we were cynical at first, it's true, you really don't need a car as it's the perfect location for beach, the harbour, shops, supermarkets, dozens of restaurants all within no more than a ten minute stroll. This time we also ventured onto the very efficient, air conditioned buses and coaches that take you to either local destinations or to the other big cities such as Limassol and Nicosia.

We came to Paphos with a large group of family and friends for the marriage of our son. I feel we were so very very lucky to have not only chosen Queens Gardens as our base, but truly blessed to have stayed in Rena's lovely penthouse apartment. The apartment was so spacious, and well appointed and equipped. We enjoyed every moment. The website truly doesnt do it justice. It is situated in a perfect location for everything, with Restaurants, Bars, Supermarkets, beach and harbour all within easy walking distance. Special memories of sitting on the fabulous roof terrace sipping champagne cocktails will keep us going thru the winter, thanks Rena x
