In the heart of the Haute-Minervois wine region, close to the Canal du Midi, the Aude river, Carcassonne, Nabonne and the Mediterranean, You will find us in Saint-Aunay a quiet hamlet 2km from the village of Puicheric.

Le Cers at L'Oustal Delcastel is a fully renovated comfortable holiday retreat for 4 people. surrounded with vinyards, views of the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire,

With an all in one large living room - dining room and fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with large size beds, bathroom, large private sunny south facing terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. Bed linen and towels are included. Wifi access available.

Ideal for a sunny holiday in the south of France. There is much to discover.....Long walks, cycling along the Canal du Midi, canoeing, visiting medieval Cathar castles, megalithic dolmens, old villages, good food and wine tasting are only a few of the many local attractions. Louise and Michel will be pleased to give you lots of tips and information on the local area and so you get the best out of your holiday....

“Fantastic place for a family vacation”

We were a family with a couple of kids. We stayes for a week and it was ALL perfect. Tha appartment was spacious, in a lovely surrounding, clean, comfortable, sunny, silent, all you can wish for a relaxing holidays. The owners were so helpful!! Our car broke down and they helped us to sort it out. We had a great time, specially the kids enjoying the swimming pool. Definetely a very good choice

This is a spacious and well appointed gite in very good condition. It has plenty of outdoor space too, ideal for BBQ, with the bonus of a pool. The location is peaceful with easy access to the surrounding places of interest with Carcassonne and the sea only a short drive away. The owners, Louise and Michel, could not have been more helpful and friendly, offering plenty of advise and information on the surrounding area. We were very happy with our stay here.

An excellent situation from which to explore the many experiences available, both at the coast, in the towns and villages around glorious Carcassonne and, of course, along the beautiful stretches of the “Canal du Midi” – be it by car, by bike or on foot. The apartment, which is very comfortable for two adults with two children, has it’s own south-facing terrace and shared pool and shaded garden area and is set apart, above the living area of the owners –Louise and Michel Duchateau. Their friendly, informed, discreet presence on site made for full appreciation and enjoyment of this wonderfully rich and varied area of southern France. All in all, excellent value for money.

For four of us (two couples) this was a great apartment,in a hamlet surrounded by vineyards and close to the Canal du Midi and River Aude. The apartment is very spacious with a very good kitchen in an open plan living area. There is a drive of a few minutes to the nearest supermarket, boulangerie etc but that was not a drawback for us and was offset by the peacefulness of the apartment's location. Our one suggestion to the lovely owners was that providing a couple of bikes would be appreciated by some guests.

How do damage deposits work?
