The stunning panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean of Royal Portrush Golf Course, the White Rocks Beach, the Giant’s Causeway and the Skerrie Islands are what made us fall in love with this apartment in Northern Ireland's top holiday resort of Portrush.

A very luxurious and spacious 3 bedroom first floor apartment with window seats to enjoy the stunning unobstructed panoramic views. The apartment is 12 minutes’ walk to the Royal Portrush Golf course, 5 minutes’ walk to two amazing beaches, the harbour, world-renowned Harbour Bar and the Ramore complex of Restaurants. The Giant’s Causeway and Bushmills Distillery are only 10-15 minutes’ drive away. There are 4 more fantastic links golf courses within 7 miles and 5 more within 25 miles.

We are at the Gateway to the Causeway Coastline just an hour’s drive from Belfast, the Titanic Museum and the Walled City of Derry. So perfect for exploring Northern Ireland without the hassle of changing your accommodation.

Our location is very central in Portrush Peninsula on Lansdowne Crescent in the first floor of a classic building of the grand 1900’s style only 100m from the rugged shore and the tiny Portandoo Harbour. A perfect launching point for small boats, SUPs and Canoes

The apartment has been completely remodelled and modernised to meet today’s expectations for luxurious living.

The living and dining area is a large open plan space with large windows overlooking the shore. There is comfortable seating for 7 and dining chairs for 10. The large kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the living area giving a great feeling of space. The kitchen is fully equipped to provide fine dining for ten with glassware, crockery, cutlery and service bowls to match.

The master bedroom is ensuite with a super-king-sized bed, bedroom two is a double room and bedroom three is a twin room, these are served by a separate bathroom. There is a small Snug/Kids/TV day room with double bed settee to give chill space for the kids or a 4th independent bedroom for four friends/golfers travelling together who prefer not to share a room.

FOR YOUR SAFETY AND OURS

We are committed to keeping our guests, our staff and ourselves safe during these unprecedented times. It is ours’ and your responsibility to look after ourselves and one another.

Self-catering is a safer holiday option as only families and small groups who know each other well will be together, reducing the likelihood of cross-infection.

Following a risk assessment we have implemented the following policy.

OUR PRECAUTIONS

• Arrival and departure. We are giving more time between departure and arrival to allow for a thorough clean and an additional sterilisation. Departure is 9am and arrival is 5pm.

(Check with me in case later departure or earlier arrival is available)

• Our staff have been trained in hygiene and will be using gloves, masks, visors and sterilant for cleaning.

• We have removed items which cannot be cleaned satisfactorily e.g. books, games.

• Provision of hand sanitizer inside the property.

• We have always left basic supplies and condiments for our guests. If you feel that you don’t wish to use these, please bring your own and leave ours in the cupboard

• Our electronic guide to the home has been sent to all guests

Cleaning and Sterilising

• The holiday home will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival.

• All high touch points will be sterilised including the keysafe and door handles.

• Crockery, Cutlery and glassware are washed at a high temperature setting in dishwasher.

• Laundry including pillow liners are washed at high temperature.

o Only one pillow is provided per person to allow 72 hours between use of pillows.

o If you wish please bring your own.

• Sterilising Spray. We are using a high pressure atomiser to sterilise all surfaces with HOCL medical spray to NHS standards supplied by Liquid Medical. This is non toxic and can be used on all surfaces including soft furnishings.

• Do not come if you are experiencing Covid 19 symptoms.

• Tell us if you develop Covid 19 whilst on holiday and make arrangements to return home as quickly as is possible.

• Practice Social Distancing if you have any visitors to the holiday home from outside your Bubble

• Use our hand sanitiser every time you enter the building

o Bring your own sanitiser if you prefer to use your own.

• Wash your hands regularly.

• Bring any PPE which you personally wish to use.

• Bring your own pillows, sheets and towels, if you prefer not to use ours.

Getting around

You do not need a car as everything you need for a great holiday is in the town. Public transport will take you to the tourist attractions and the train to Belfast and Derry is on one of Michael Palin's great rail journeys of the world. However we do recommend a car for flexibility and it is good if you want to explore at your own convenience.

Interaction with guest

The property is entirely yours, but you can contact me or my agent by phone if you need any help. This makes for easy social distancing for a safe vacation or staycation. There is a keysafe at the front door so you can arrive anytime after 4pm, or earlier by arrangement. There are two sets of keys so keep one set with you and leave one set in the keysafe. Once you book I will send you my guide to the area so you can plan for memorable meals and great days out.

“A little bit of paradise”

We stayed for three nights - four adults and a 7 year old. More than enough space. Two bathrooms. Two lounge areas. Everything you need and more. Comfortable beds. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Ample parking, no restrictions and right outside the property (I imagine it may be more challenging in summer months). THE VIEW! The photos do not do it justice. Saw some porpoise one morning. The owner was on hand to sort a little issue with the heating - easily sorted. We hired a car and travelled along the causeway coast - stunning beaches, Giants Causeway recommended also the rope bridge - if you are brave enough. Hours drive to Belfast - recommend using the Northside park and ride. Titanic museum is excellent and easily accessible via the Sightseeing bus tour. Considering booking again in the summer!

Stayed at the Causeway View Apartment in Portrush, the apartment is very spacious and modern, has everything you need including wonderful unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, very central to everything Portrush has to offer. How do damage deposits work?
