Country House Retreat is a unique country homestead set on 50 acres of countryside just minutes from Lakes Entrance and Metung, but a world away from the holiday crowds.

You will be swept away by the experience this secluded country home offers –set up for couples, families and friends to enjoy country living with coastal beaches, tourist villages and the magnificent Gippsland Lakes in close proximity.

The contemporary home features a large entertainment deck with pizza oven, BBQ and outdoor dining, overlooking a peaceful dam and rolling pastures. An outdoor heated spa provides year round relaxation and fun for young and old.

Consisting of four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this home will comfortably accommodate 10 guests. The main bedroom features a king coil queen bed, with a sublime ensuite offering views of the native bushland behind the property, plus walk in robe. Two bedrooms feature trilogy bunks (double bed with single up top), with the fourth bedroom offering a king coil king size bed or the option of two single beds.

The kitchen is stocked to feel like a home away from home. Slow cook, stir fry or sizzle your way to a fabulous meal with cooktop, oven and microwave. Plenty of plastic ware for the little people in your lives and dining outdoors, plus salt and pepper, cooking spray, foil, cling wrap supplied for your convenience. If you’re not on duty keep the chef company in the open plan kitchen/dining area as you admire views of the country side from each window. Coffee pod machine and arrival tea/coffee amenities are also provided.

In the cooler months enjoy a cosy log fire (with all wood provided), or just switch on the split system for instant warmth and comfort. Stretch out on the plush leather sofa for some screen time in front of the 55 inch HD TV, or plug your favourite tunes into the portable speaker and dance like no-one’s watching (did we mention the privacy and seclusion?).

Deluxe hotel quality linen and towels are provided for each guest. For stays exceeding 7 nights’ fresh linen and towels are provided on a complimentary basis. Laundry features LG washing machine plus all the things you’ll need to keep your house in order after a day at the beach!

Pets that are clean and flea free are most welcome and permitted indoors on non carpeted areas.

Our farm is adjacent to Country House Retreat, so as hosts we are close by and on hand if there is anything you need throughout your stay. If you're traveling with children we are happy to bring our farm animals over for a visit (goats, sheep and cows). They may even be grazing in the front paddock during your stay!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Kim (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kim (the owner) a message.

If Kim (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
