Who’s up for adventure on the South Seas? Or, if not the seas themselves, how about the most idyllic beaches in the southern hemisphere? We’re talking private desert islands, blue lagoons, coral reefs, palm trees and sea turtles. The allure of the South Pacific doesn’t diminish inland, either - the Outback and the mountains of New Zealand see to that.
Whether you’re a surfer or exist to sun yourself, the beaches of the South Pacific are world-class. Australia’s Bondi Beach and Byron Bay are international icons, and Bora Bora’s Matira Beach is so perfect it looks photoshopped. Houses and apartments in the South Pacific are typically best by the beach.
The islands of the South Pacific are straight from a fairy tale - or perhaps a pirate story. Pure white sandbanks seem to float on the ocean, fringed with palms and surrounded by the bright blue sea, while dormant volcanoes conceal deep lagoons. Dolphins play, turtles roam and travelers relax.
Visit Middle Earth
New Zealand is a place so magical it’s synonymous with Tolkien’s fictional landscapes in The Lord of the Rings. Traverse great mountains, explore Fiordland National Park on South Island and visit the set of Hobbiton in the north. You’ll be spellbound from the moment you step off the plane.

AVARO HOUSE - Beachside & Swimming Pool
Perfect location/space for relaxing getaway with friends or family
Can not fault this place at all- such an idyllic outdoor setting with deck, pool and lounge chairs over-looking the beach, makes for the perfect spot to entertain guests or hide away for some R&R. …
We rented this apartment for 4 nights as a family on our arrival in Australia. It was perfect for us; a home from home. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It is in a good location; about a 15 minute walk to the Manly Wharf and all the restaurants of Manly. However, it’s worth mentioning that the walk to Manly centre is down a fairly steep hill which you then have to walk up again on your return to the house!! It wasn’t a problem for us at all though. We used the Manly Fast Ferry to go straight into Sydney which was really convenient.
Robyn was a great host, extremely responsive with answers to queries. She recommended a great restaurant ( Hugo’s) for my son’s birthday.
One minor complaint is that there were no free tv channels, only internet tv which we couldn’t get to work for some reason but it wasn’t a big deal for us as we were out sightseeing most of the time.
All in all, a fabulous house and a very professional host. …
Stated for a few nights with the family. Easy access to ferry at Balmain (down the hill and through the park and the main street (up the hill) for bus into the city. Got train and ferry easily from the airport which was a lovely way to arrive but more expensive for 2 adults and 2 children than a taxi. The apartment itself is very nicely decorated with good WiFi and facilities. Could perhaps do with an extra chair in lounge if four are staying. Hot water occasionally ran out if we were all showering at busy times of day. It is at the top of the block so there are a fair few stairs this could be a problem for some if mobility issues but it didn't bother us at all. Overall, this is a very lovely place: clean, well appointed and the owner was lovely to deal with. She left us so much fruit on arrival we failed to get through it all! Recommended. …

Comfortable Living, Excellent Environment
We are a ten-people church group, with toddlers and babies. It is an excellent retreat place for us. Adults could take a good rest, and children really enjoyed the facilities (farm, bicycles, game rooms, etc.)
The price is definitely of a big value, coz the facilities provided are so nice that it makes you feel like living at home.
We also love the 'historical' fragrance of the settings: many vintage furniture and precious photos on the wall.
Right upon our arrival, we decided to make another booking for our next holiday retreat. …
