Description

Georgeousl Canarian house, built in 1850 and renovated respecting its architecture typology. It is unique, isolated use. Access to the house is via a private road (50 m) and has its own parking.
The house is isolated surronded by fields.

It is a large house with a lounge and living room-kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a games room. He has extensive outdoor spaces like verandah of about 100 square meters, the solarium, 50 sqm with outdoor barbecue and a rear garden.

The house has an outdoor jacuzzi, covered in winter to allow its use.

The house has 3 wood burning stoves, which provide a rustic feel and give warmth to the rooms in the quiet winter evenings. Users can enjoy a leisure room with pool table, foosball, internet (WIFI), reading area, board games, etc.

“Lovely stay”

We went to the island for the fourth time but we came to Casa El Laurel this time in the north advice by some friends. We love it. We enjoy the size of the house, we had plenty of space and the tranquility that surrounds the area is lovely. It is on a evergreen valley (you need to have a car and be a confident driver). The house is nicely renovated and the terrase is large. We did not use the jacuzzi but you have access to it. You get linen and towels and Rosa Maria the owner is friendly and speaky perfect Englih if you have any emergencies.

We have booked a two weeks trip to the island but we were unsure of where to stay. We chose Casa El Laurel looking for a calm place close to the mountains and the ocean. Our choice turned out to be excellent. The house is beautiful and much bigger than it seems in the pictures, has a great terrace and it is in a superb location. We alterneted the ocean trips with the mountains one and spent also a couple of days visiting the villages around. Great restaurants, very cheap and tasty food and lovely people everywhere we went. The downside is that you NEED a car as public transportation is almost none outside the city of Las Palmas at least you are planning a trip to the South from the city...you also find very incredible scenery and breathtaking driving.We will go back.
