Description

Villa in the Vineyard is an apartment taking over the whole ground floor of this eco-villa, designed for one party of guests with private pool and gardens, unlike many other holiday homes which consist of multiple apartments and shared pool. We live discreetly on the top floor and act as your personal guides to the local area and amenities, when needed. We also maintain the grounds, the organic vegetable garden and the pool for you.

Villa in the Vineyard offers its guests a relaxing retreat in one of the most outstanding areas of Le Marche with stunning views across vineyards, olive groves and up to hill-top villages. Both the spectacular Sibillini mountains and the golden beaches of the Adriatic coast are within easy reach. This is truly undiscovered Italy. Eat some of the finest food in the local restaurants or cook yourself with locally produced ingredients.

We took over Villa in the Vineyard in early 2018 and have enjoyed welcoming guests to this very special place, which has the highest environmental credentials. We have made significant improvements to the apartment and the surrounding 2 acre grounds and we are delighted to have achieved 5-star reviews.

The emphasis here is on sustainable living with style and comfort. Large showers, abundant hot water fed by our solar panels, photovoltaic for electricity and a heat exchanger which keeps the house cool in summer - so no need for unhealthy air conditioning - and provides underfloor heating in the winter months. The villa was rebuilt using the original stone and brick and the paints and materials used are non toxic and allow the walls to 'breathe'. We even have a pure water ionized swimming pool, which is for your private use.

Villa in the Vineyard offers a perfect location for a rejuvenating retreat at any time of the year with time to relax in a hammock or gaze at the view. The villa is set in 19 acres of organic land and our guests are free to stroll through the vineyards. We can also arrange wine tastings at the neighbouring winery a short walk up the road, where you can taste the wines from the vineyards on our land accompanied by authentic antipasti.

There are walks from the house and the Sibillini Mountains National Park is about 40 minutes away with miles of trails, lake swimming and incredible flora and fauna.

Visit the beautiful cities of Ascoli Piceno, Fermo and Macerata or discover the many charming hill-top villages.

Here are specific details about your holiday apartment.

The apartment is stylishly furnished with an emphasis on comfort. A harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary, with timber beams and tiled floors. The rooms have unspoilt views over the countryside with a large terrace across the back of the house overlooking your private pool.

There is an extensive collection of reading material, including plenty of local information, as well as novels and cookbooks. Wifi is available when you need it or you can connect direct to the internet using our internal cabling.

All windows are double-glazed with internal shutters with fly screens.

Bedrooms/ bathrooms: Both double bedrooms have comfortable king-sized beds, one with a memory foam mattress and the other a pocket sprung mattress. Both have ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom has two twin beds with a family bathroom opposite. We also have a cot which can be added to any of the roosm. The bathrooms have power-showers, hairdryers and courtesy organic toiletries provided.

Lounge: With sofa-bed, armchairs and log-burner

Dining Room: With large dining table and 6 chairs

Kitchen: Fully fitted with modern oven, large gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, granite work tops, breakfast bar and a full complement of kitchenware.

There are plenty of poolside loungers, parasols, hammocks, tables and chairs for alfresco eating with areas of shade under the trees. The pool is fullly fenced and run on an an ionization system - the safest and most effective way of keeping it clean without the heavy use of chemicals (it's like swimming in bottled water!). There are plenty of toys/games and a table tennis table.

Bedding, bathroom towels and pool towels are provided and changed weekly.

30% deposit on booking and final payment 6 weeks before rental period.

All payment is in euros with €224 returnable deposit for breakages refunded on leaving if all is well.

As this is a rural area, a car is needed to get around. The roads are really quiet and there are lovely walks straight from the villa.

We will also provide a welcome pack suited to any dietary requirements you may have. We are on hand if you need us but we respect your privacy at all times.

House rules

We would ask our guests not to apply heavy suncream before swimming as it can effect the water clarity.

The pool is off limits after 10.00pm

We would ask our guest not to dive or jump into the pool for their own safety.

Nothing sharp or stones must be thrown into the pool as this can damage the liner.

The gate to the pool must be kept closed at all times if we have young children staying with us.

Please take care when farmers and farm machinery are working on the land.

“Fantastisches apartment mit pool und Garten, mitten in den italienischen Bergen”

Ein sehr familienfreundliches Apartment in einer Villa mit großem Garten, einem pool und super Ausblick. Die Location ist wunderschön, mitten in den Bergen und nicht weit entfernt von einem tollen Sportplatzt mit Tennis und Fussball oder der nächsten Bar. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen! (Ben, 11 und Hannah, 15)

A beautiful villa in an amazing location - quiet and secluded but plenty of towns nearby to explore. The apartment is very spacious and clean, with views of the countryside and mountains in the distance. The hosts are friendly and wonderful; they gave us lots of advice on the area and recommendations of what to do. Will definitely be back again :)

“Fantastic views from comfortable apartment”

The villa is very stylish and extremely comfortable, my room was practically soundproofed and the blinds effectively black-out which made for easy sleeping. The views are what made it for me. Absolutely stunning views all around the villa! It's near many small towns which allow you to experience traditional Italian culture (I had my first Italian gelato and hot chocolate - divine!) which the hosts were very helpful in directing us to. Would love to stay again in the summer months!

How do damage deposits work?
