Le Lit et L'image
Amongst the vineyards and sunflower fields in the Charente-Maritime region of France, just a few miles from the A10 motorway Paris-Bordeaux, you find "Le Lit et L'image" in a peaceful surrounding.
The Holiday House is next to the B&B run by the owners, in a small hamlet, well away from mass tourism, but in a region with a multitude of possibilities for an ideal vacation. Smack in the middle of the Bordeaux wine and the Cognac routes, you can hike, cycle, mountain bike, savour the local delicacies and enjoy the castles, villages and towns in the region. A lazy day ? Relax by the pool, or sip from a Pineau de Charentes, the local aperitif, in the shade.
Upstairs you'll find a bedroom with a double bed, and a mezzanine style bedroom with a bunk bed sleeping two.. On the ground level a large dining room with open plan kitchen, a sitting corner, shower room and seperate toilet. . There's a large terrace, partly covered and the swimming pool is only a few paces, ideal for sunbathing and cooling down in the water.
