From the owner

Located on the high-end, elite part of Mellieha, amongst villas and bungalows this apartment is in Santa Maria Estate. Beach is less than 5 minutes drive away. It is immediately within walking distance to all shops, bus stops and all other necessities. It is an elevated one bedroom apartment with free WIFI internet service throughout. Internet speed is 100mbps. This apartment very comfortably sleeps two persons in the bedroom and another adult and a child on the sofa bed in the living area, there is a new travel cot for a baby also free of charge, if needed.

The apartment comprises a bedroom with a brand new cooling/heating air-conditioner, a large wardrobe, 2 large single beds measuring 200x90cm new semi orthopaedic mattresses which can be put together or apart. The bathroom has a double walk-in shower. The living area / kitchen is airconditioned also and comprises a kitchenette and a new washing machine, crockery cabinet, all necessary items. There is a 3 seat sofa which becomes a bed and opens to 190cm x 105cm bed. 32" flat screen set for HDMI/DVD connection. There's a dining table, 2 chairs, outdoor table, 2 other chairs for dining alfresco out on the front sun terrace. The apartment enjoys a good sized front and side terrace which are bonus space at this apartment. Sun umbrella plus 2 separate deckchairs and BBQ Grill available. Smoking indoors is not allowed, smoking only outside please. The total apartment floor area is 42 square metres.

All bed linen, bed throws, pillows, bath towels, beach towels included. A user-friendly automatic washing machine, clothes airier are available for drying of washed garments. Iron/ironing board are also available.

Furthermore, a new baby travel-cot, high chair, with all new baby accessories and toys are available at no extra charge for our tenants.

Together with the new air-conditioner unit there is also a large brand new electric fan in the living area.

All amenities are within 100mtrs of apartment and these include bus-stops (both directions), supermarket, confectionery, bakery, grocery, pubs, bars, butchers and a slight walk away you will find many restaurants, hairdressers, boutiques, massage therapy, spas, banks, car rental companies, travel agencies etc. Basically the further you go into the village core (which is a 10 minute pleasant walk from the apartment) the more amenities you will find. Near the Sanctuary of Our Lady (chapel) you will also find a helpful Tourist Information Office. Tourist info is kept at the apartment for you just in case you need it.

The apartment is private and only has a communal entrance/exit which it shares with a detached bungalow. Free car parking in front of the apartment on the street.

This apartment is typically ideal for the romantic couple, a small young family of 3 or 4, an independent traveller, a senior couple who are looking for a peaceful retreat. The apartment has kept 4 persons when requested by clients, however a small supplementary fee per person is charged over 2 persons.

Mellieha enjoys it's 'VILLAGE FESTA' every 8th September and it is highly recommended that if you have never experienced a Maltese Festa before, you should make sure you visit Mellieha village for their FESTA. As it will be a memorable experience. It is the feast of Our Lady of Victory.

Cirkewwa is not far (about 15-20 minutes by bus), less by car. Cirkewwa is where there is the sea-port ferry which crosses over to Malta's sister island GOZO. Bus numbers 41 & 42 take you to Cirkewwa and back to Mellieha. Bus card EXPLORE are the best deal for bus trips. Adults Euro21 each, children under 10yrs Euro15 each for 7 days hop on/hop off. These bus cards can be purchased from Malta International Airport or at Mellieha shops.

How do damage deposits work?

If Charlene (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
