STAY BY ME – following the tradition of anchient Romans discouver and taste this part of

Mediteranian – Split. This cousy nest is ideally situated, in the new building, QUIET neighbourhood, just

7 minutes walking distance from the heart of Split, the pitoresque fish market and a bit further the main

fruits and vegetables market.

One of the oldest historycal monuments- the anchient PALACE OF ROMAN EMPIRE DIOKLECIAN

is about 10 min. walking.

At about 15 minutes walking distance is the most famous beach in Split BA?VICE, sandy beach

where a unique game - PICIGIN is played (passing the ball however you can, standing in sandy bay

with the sea barelly reaches your knees.

Opposite the building are two maxi markets for groceries, and the big parking place to leave your car.

If you want to travel, the ferry terminal, where the farries can take you to the islands or even to Italy,

is within 10 minutes walking distance,

Diocletian palace is named after the Roman Emperor Gaius Aurelius Valerius Diocletianus.

The answer becomes obvious once you see and feel this natural beauty.

If you are a nature lover, not far from the city center you can enjoy the Forest Park “Marijan”, a thick pine forest on the hills that descends to the sea and to the numerous beautiful sandy, pebble and rocky beaches.

Connection between Dalmatia and nature is best felt in its gastronomy. Dalmatian cuisine
is well known for its diverse and rich Mediterranean scents and flavors including the famous Dalmatian wines.
