The MLDPD according to the museographic design it exhibits objects from the permanent collection of "Ioannis Bakopoulos".
Square: The statue of the father of the Republic, Alexandros Papanastasiou, dominates the entrance of Levidi. In the beautiful, lively square of Levidi there is the mansion of the chieftain Anagnosti Striftombola as well as the Town Hall which is of exceptional traditional architecture.
The Byzantine church of Panagia: Located on the hill of Panagitsa, 2 km from Levidi, it is a basilica style and a triangle. Probably the temple is built on the ancient temple of Artemis Hymn, where ancient churches were celebrated. An inscription informs us that the church was painted with these extraordinary wall paintings in 1629. The church is celebrated at the ninth day of Our Lady on 23 August.
The Church of Taxiarhes: It has been decorated with the exceptional frescoes it has in 1719. The hagiographies are so beautiful that it was characterized by some "Museum of Frescoes". The monastery became a great refuge for the inhabitants during the Ottoman domination and the revolution. The stone stairs lead to the cathedral of the monastery dug into the rock with crafted icons of 1833. The Kandila Monastery is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
