Chalet Pitu is positioned right in the centre of the beautiful, traditional and particularly quaint village of Venosc sitting at 1007 metres above sea level. The location is superb offering easy access to restaurants, bars, boutique shops as well as artisan works all within a few minutes walk. It also has the only garden in the central village of which makes a lovely spot for alfresco dining. If you are keen on fresh, mountain water then you’ll love that the spring fountain is directly in front of the Chalet.

The property is a character filled, historical stone, animal barn that has been very recently and carefully restored to a high standard. We offer luxury accommodation with a lovely combination of traditional, Chalet features and chic touches for 4 adults.

The gondola is a 5 minute stroll from the Chalet and will take you directly to Les Deux Alpes in 6.5 minutes, which has the largest skiable glacier in Europe. The peak is 3,600 metres above sea level providing a snow sure place to ski and has 222km of pistes made up largely of long, open runs. What is also fabulous is that you can store all your ski gear at the top of the mountain for your entire stay, leaving you free to leisurely enjoy yourselves. Les Deux Alpes is France's second oldest ski resort behind Chamonix; the home of Mont Blanc.

We also offer 3 hamper options for your arrival to save you having to shop when on route to the Chalet. A great option if you're arriving late and there's free parking in the village too which makes things easy and optic fibre wifi!

Why can't I call Jodie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jodie (the owner) a message.

If Jodie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
