In the fascinating historical center of Lecce, known baroque city of southern Italy, is located "Palazzo Pio" an elegant nineteenth-century building among the most eclectic of the city. The dwelling was built in 1872 and completed at the end of the 1800s. A low vaulted hallway leads to a porticoed courtyard with a staircase adorned with Venetian statues and stuccoes. However, the most important value of the building is the mosaic floor of the entire first floor which gives it uniqueness, style and elegance. The chromatic refinement, the ability to perform and the richness of the iconographic repertoire (geometric, floral, vegetal, with figures of anthropomorphic animals, bizarre and even so similar to us) create an emotional impact of great intensity to the visitor. Completely independent and silent, Palazzo Pio has a luxuriant equipped garden, the typical internal orange grove of historic houses, to give its guests a pleasantly relaxing stay right in the heart of the city. The parking space is located 100 meters from the building and has a daily cost of 15 euros.
