“Oasis of calm”
Excellent stay at Clistivan, everything there to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Location was very rural but easy driving distance to supermarket, places of interest and coast. The peace and quiet was amazing day or night, although we did hear a dog bark in the distance one evening!!!! Had a problem with the TV Andrew (owner) managed to fine us a channel to watch. Only three sun loungers for the two properties which was a little awkward at times. Please take a torch or night light for the landing, it is very dark at night and if you take the wrong turn into the bathroom you could end up almost falling down the stairs - I know!! In all a great place and very helpful, friendly people. We try not to bother the owners but if you had to it would not be a problem. We had a welcome drink with them and other quests on our second night which was unexpected but a lovely touch. Thank you both for a very pleasant stay.
Owner's reply: Thanks for your review, we're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry about the lack of one sun-lounger, unfortunately it was broken late in the season and we weren't able to replace it. But new loungers will be in place for April 2013! We will also provide a night light for the landing, we didn't realize it was a problem, thanks for your feedback.
