Description

Our place is located at the heart of South Ardèche, near the famous "Gorges de l'Ardèche" and the "Chauvet Cave" (Grotte Chauvet) in a typical provencal town called "Joyeuse", which means "Happiness" !

Enjoy a wonderful and vast "hôtel particulier", that is a mansion / castle from the XVIIIth century, decorated with the spirit of a traditional and elegant provencal house from old times...

- 300 sq. meters in a great house, entirely yours during your stay, wether you are 2 or 10 guests

- 5 rooms, large and comfortable, decorated with 18th century spirit

- 3 en suite bathrooms with large shower and bath

- 2 big terraces at each level of the house offering a wonderful view on vineyards, woods and city center of Joyeuse.

- Many nice French restaurants are also in 2 minutes walk range

From the city of Joyeuse, heart of South Ardeche, you'll be able to visit any part of it from the Ardèche canyon ("Gorges de l'Ardèche") to Natural Park of Ardeche Mountains of Cévennes, from typical provençal towns villages like Vogüé and Balazuc to the famous Chauvet Cave ("Grotte Chauvet").

Getting around

FIND OUR PLACE ONCE ARRIVED IN JOYEUSE VILLAGE : Drive along the main avenue in Joyeuse in the direction of Lablachère. Before you arrive at the Hôtel de l’Europe, turn left and follow the direction of the old village (you will see a panel “Ville médiévale”). Go straight, leave on your right the so-called Place de la Recluse with its medieval tower, carry on straight away, till you arrive 200 m. later on the Place de la Peyre, where you’ll easily recognize a fountain and our house.

Interaction with guest

We love to advise our guests: either for restaurants, provençal traditional markets, places to see, or tips to avoid any trafic jams around top sightseeing in some tiny villages. Feel free to ask us: we really love to leave you the best impression about our wonderful area.

Gorgeous house, beautiful rooms. We loved the atmosphere of the house and the decoration was particularly fine. We strongly recommand the rooftop and its view ! Nous revenons !

How do damage deposits work?
