Accessed via lush colourful shrubs around front door, this traditionally-styled cottage-apartment with its own front door offers lovely panoramic sea views over the gardens from its windows and from the large, private terrace. The terrace is furnished for alfresco dining and features a unique built-in seating area to one side.
The location is right down on the coast, only 350 m to the adjacent beach which is great for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing - sun beds and parasols can be hired - and the area is immersed in nature with landscaped gardens surrounding the traditionally designed properties. There is plenty to keep you occupied close by if you like active holidays but it is also ideally suitable for quiet relaxation and tranquillity, walking over the headlands and exploring the wild vegetation to interesting places and fantastic views via the paths through the scrubland.
The apartment offers comfortable accommodation for a couple or a family with up to 4 people staying. The sleeping arrangements consist of one double bedroom with king size bed plus two single sofa beds, and the entire premises comprises a comfortable living area in an open plan L-shaped design with a lounge, small but a fully equipped kitchen and indoor dining table. The bathroom has all the usual facilities including a separate shower cubicle and a bidet. The terrace is approached through patio doors from the lounge from where breathtaking views and stunning sunsets are to be seen. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, with seating and tables, just a few minutes walk from the property.
We are in a truly idyllic location. Our area is known for its crystal clear water, panoramic sea views and incredible natural beauty, including sandy beaches (one of them is 8km long), shady pine forests and unusual red rocks. All activities and amenities are in the local area, including an aqua park (with pools, water slides and much more, excellent for kids and those who are young at heart), a variety of different beaches and coves, shops and supermarkets, restaurants, historical monuments, boat excursions, scuba diving schools and a hot spring spa treatment centre a little way inland. Further attractions such as horse riding, sailing, and wind surfing are located nearby, as well as many interesting towns and markets ready to explore. Don’t forget to visit Valle della Luna - a vast natural valley reminiscent of the moon’s surface, the quaint fishing town of Isola Rossa with its harbour, tourist shops, cafes, town beach and ancient Spanish tower, Castelsardo with its castle sited above the colourful town houses and the Elephant Rock nearby which the wind has naturally shaped into its namesake!

I've kept a blog since 2006, with pictures and things that I have done in Sardinia with my family. This includes trips to hidden beaches and interesting places - we like to live like the locals when we're out there. I will gladly share this with you.
