From the owner

Our 3 bedroomed house is situated in a semi rural situation, in the historical village of Irby. Here you will find 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, shops and amenities.

We are close to a number of beaches including Thurstaston and West Kirby, and are within 300 metres of Thurstaston common which provides wonderful walks through the ancient woods of Roydon Park.

There are a number of golf courses on our doorstep, including Caldy, Wallasey and Royal Liverpool.

We are also situated on the main bus routes to Liverpool, Chester and West Kirby, and a 20 minute drive to North Wales.

On the first floor our house comprises of 2 light and airy spacious double bedrooms both with double beds. The third bedroom being slightly smaller but also houses a double bed. There is a bathroom with bath/shower and toilet, with a seperate toilet also situated on this floor.

On the ground floor there is a newly fitted kitchen with dining table to seat 6. There is also a large lounge with corner sofa and patio doors leading to the garden. The garden offers a large grassed area, patio area with garden table and chairs and the use of a coal BBQ.

Our house is ideal for a family summer holiday being close to the beach and many outdoor activity centres, family get togethers and golfing and walking holidays. Not forgetting both Chester and Liverpool offer both cultural experiences and fine dining.

Royal Liverpool Golf Course 10 minutes drive.

Aintree Racecourse 35 minute drive, also reachable by public transport.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Lindsey (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lindsey (the owner) a message.

If Lindsey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
