Very Good

“Couldn't have asked for more”

What a lovely property. We went for a girly weekend and everyone fell in love with the house. The kitchen was definitely a highlight and we were very touched to find a bottle of Prosecco a four pint of milk in the fridge waiting for us. It had all the amenities and was perfect for catering for a good gathering. Dugald, the owner, and Mr White the caretaker were very helpful throughout the booking process and during the stay (especially when we couldn't find the house, satnav takes you a bit further than you need). Thank you both!

“Quintessential English getaway - stunning spot, charming property”

Loved this place - location and local pub and village were lovely too. House itself was fantastic - cosy, charming, well equipped and perfect for a larger group. Fantastic kitchen too. One of the few places I've been that actually looks even more impressive than the pictures on the website suggest. Only downside was that there were 3 couples and only two double bedrooms. Would go back in a heartbeat. Owner Dugald was extremely accommodating and considerate.

“Beautiful country getaway”

Had a wonderful long weekend with friends at Tickeridge Farm. The house accommodated a large group of us without losing it's country cottage charm. Very well equipped for cooking meals for groups. Stunning location with rural aspects but also close to amenities.

“Excellent place for a family renuion. Would work well even in bad weather , as plenty of space inside the house.”

We , party of 9 (including children under 5) enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect, and the backdrop of the farmland, horses and the hills made it all picturesque. The Kitchen was huge, centre point of our holiday and well equipped. A few more bright lights in the living room would be helpful. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and tidy. We were lucky to have the Blues festival in the UPton town nearby so enjoyed.# Mr Dugald, the owner was really helpful as we had to cancel our booking last minute, but reinstate it too. Would defintely recommend...
