“A well presented French country retreat.”

The property was as described, clean and comfortable. The location is very quiet and rural yet only a short walk out of the village. Only five minutes off the motorway network. Great location for exploring the beautiful Limousin countryside. It is a comfortable days drive from the channel crossings. The owners Jamie and Rachel are very friendly and helpful.

On arrival we were greeted by the owner, who lives in the farmhouse on site. It is not an easy place to find unless you have GPS, but well worth the effort if you like a quiet holiday away from it all. We were made welcome immediately. There are two 'gites', one is a detached cottage and the other part of the original farm buildings, which altogether form a large square. Both have their own spaces for sitting outside in little well-kept gardens, and our gite was very nice inside, with everthing clean and convenient. Nearby are ancient villages, lakes and rolling countryside to explore - and Limoges not too far distant. Great for a few days relaxation!
