This magical and singular southern French former monastery built in the early 16th century is situated in the beautiful Cèze Valley and is simply perfect for up to 14 holidaymakers.
As the former monastery is built on higher ground, guests will be able to enjoy breathtaking views from the many terraces and balconies of the valley and beyond. Despite its solitary location, the holiday home is only 4 km away from the charming village of Goudargues, which has shops, a tourist office, 5 GP surgeries, a vet, many restaurants and bars, a market on wednesdays, canoe rental, horseback riding, wild water rafting, a tennis court and much more. The seaside and historical towns like Avignon and Nîmes are only an hour's drive away. The region has activities a plenty with international airports in Nîmes and Montpellier.
In the house, everything is stylish and luxuriously furnished with all mod cons. The lower part of the rental home is fully equipped for guests with mobility problems. We also offer unlimited Wifi, a Wifi point, 2 cable TVs with DVD players, 6 newly renovated spacious bedrooms, 2 superbly equipped kitchens each with a state of the art dishwasher and white gods, 4 newly fitted bathrooms and much, much more.
From the large 6m x 12m pool you can see far into the "Val de Cèze" and the open grounds and the olive groves. The sprawling lawns are great for outdoor games. Within the house you will discover balconies and terraces, plus a charming walled courtyard with a large family sized BBQ and seating for 10 - 12 guests.
