The House is situated at 8 km from Orvieto, at 600 metres above sea level. Immersed in greenery and surrounded by wheat fields and wooded hills, the position is reserved, but not isolated, and nothing disturbs the quiet of the countryside.
The covered area is 120 sq m, and is spread over 2 levels. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with dining area and fireplace, a large living room, a bedroom and a bathroom; the first floor consists of a bedroom with a large bathroom. The farmhouse has been recently restored using chestnut wood beams on the ceilings, terracotta floors and tuff bricks for the exterior.
A pleasant patio area overlooks the grounds of 3 acres full of fruit trees and ornamental plants. The grounds and the green surrounding areas allow walks looking, depending on the time of year, mushrooms, asparagus, wild strawberries, blackberries, chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, cherries, peaches, grapes and persimmons.
The House also is conveniently located for excursions of all kinds. Orvieto with its Duomo is only 8 km away, as well as the medieval village of Civita di Bagnoregio and Bolsena Lake where you can do water sports or simply sunbathe and swim. Rome, Florence, the sea of the Maremma and the ancient Spa of San Casciano and Saturnia are approximately one hour away by car.
Orvieto, which is only 8 miles from the House, it is served by a railway station with trains that can reach both Rome and Florence in an hour.
