Private and secure casita in the town of Aguijitas, Drake Bay. Now we offer A/C in the bedroom. Just 5 minutes to the beach, shops, cafes, and pubs. Great location to explore Corcovado National Park, Rio Sierpe-Terraba Wetlands, Cano Island. Endless hiking options. The Mango Street Casita is in a gated garden with fruit trees and tropical ornamental plants all around. This is a birders delight. Monkeys and sloth are see easily from the porch of the casita. This remote location can be expensive that is why this option would be best for those interested in being independent and economical by some of their own cooking. In your own house you can enjoy more of nature at your own pace. Our family's main house is on the same property and we will be your hosts thus to insure you find what you are looking for and get the experiences you want. Not to worry we are private folks and just want to be available if you need us. We have lived in the Drake Bay area for well over 20 years and have worked in tourism most of this time. The Casita is new. The virtual tour will show the rental best. We do have a 3 night min. stay. We are available to help with transfers and arrange excursions. There is a safe parking space for your rental car. The Casita sleeps a max of 3. WiFi is available. Kitchenette- dishes, refrigerator, coffee maker, stove/oven, washing sink and clothes line make the Casita complete. A security box is available.

Why can't I call Nichole (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nichole (the owner) a message.

If Nichole (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
