“A home from home in beautiful Dalyan”
This is an exceptionally well appointed villa located on the edge of town, handy for shopping in the supermarket as well as an excellent butchers shop. It is so nice to stay somewhere where everything you need is to hand and there are people around to help if you need it. Great pool, good kitchen, lots of bathrooms, comfy beds, unobtrusive cleaning - what else do you need! The walk down to the river and the town is just what you need as well to balance your intake of Raki and Efes and the fabulous food in the local restaurants. With such an excellent food market on Saturdays in the town we also made good use of the barbecue.
“A quiet, relaxing holiday in a lovely villa”
This was our second visit to Dalyan and we found this villa the perfect place to be. It's about 10-15 mins walk from the town centre so you're nicely away from the hustle and bustle. The villa itself has everything you need - a fully functioning kitchen, two bathrooms, nice living area, free wifi, air conditioned bedrooms, good beds, fresh towels, a cleaning lady etc and the outside area with the large pool is tidy and safe for kids. There's plenty to do and see around Dalyan from the fabulous beach and lake to the mud baths and boat trips. The town itself has plenty of choice for eating out and the market and shops are great too. Enjoy!
Loved it, loved it, loved it! Dalyan is beautiful, and the location of this property is great. It's a short and pleasant walk into town - a maximum of 10-15 minutes depending on how quickly you walk in the sunshine. The property itself is clean, homely and had all the kitchen basics - although if you're looking for a la carte, I would recommend eating out. There are two neighbouring properties but neither were in use while we were there so we had the pool, which is a good size, completely to ourselves. The garden was lovely for al fresco dining, with a choice of dining spots - depending on how much shade you want. And, the information: how to get there, tips on where to eat, and things to do was spot on. We had an awesome stay, and we will definitely be returning.
“You won't be disappointed”
I stayed in Villa Uc at Manzarra Villas with a friend in early September. The villa garden is so lovely well kept and tranquil that it was a real pleasure just sitting about in the shade of the house on some days and jumping into the pool when the heat got too much. The villa itself is spotless and maintained by the lovely Dondu who speaks fantastic English and who can arrange any trip or visit you want to make (she arranged a visit to a Turkish bath for us which was a complete laugh as well as rendering us spotless) . The bedrooms were quiet and cool (air conditioning if you want it but I didn't need it as there was always a cool breeze in the evening ) including one with a lovely little balcony. The villa is 7 mins walk from the town and we made use of all the trip/visit suggestions in the really useful literature that was left for us. So we quickly located the best and most interesting restaurants in town and the excellent market and took trips that were really worth the money (moonlight swimming, snorkelling, beach trips). Dalyan is beautiful and the effects of hard tourism are controlled. If you book this place you won't regret it - I'm going back!
“Wonderful opportunity to sample the real Turkey”
Myself, my partner and our 2 children aged 8 and 15 had a fantastic 2 week summer holiday here. Set in a beautiful garden just off the beaten track but close enough to get into town to sample the wonderful and delicious Turkish cafes, bars and restaurants. The villa itself is clean, well presented and authentic a cool little haven to cool off from the hot Turkish sun. We had a great time and will definitely be booking again!
“Home from home, clean, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, brilliant location”
We stayed at this lovely villa last year and had an excellent holiday. The villa is a short walk from the river where you can pick up a boat to the beach or take the bus with breathtaking views. You can also hire bikes in Dalyan. The villa has a pool for cooling off at the end of the day. We enjoyed cooking our own BBQ delights, with locally bought seafood. There are also plenty of restaurants along the river front to sample the delicious local cuisine. All in all brilliant accomodation in a fantastic location.
“Lovely villa with relaxing garden and pool - great area.”
I have stayed in this lovely villa on two occasions - both were great. The villa is lovely, charmingly decorated and well furnished. I loved the outside space, gardens always well kept with some mature plants creating privacy, and the pool very clean and a great place to cool down. Dalyan is a lovely little resort and due to being in a conservation area has not suffered from over development, yet there are still plenty of restaurants and shops plus a great food market with local people bringing produce from the surrounding areas. It is easy to get to the beach by bus, or via the river - a lovely outing in itself. We also hired a private boat one day and had a great evening trip on the river with swimming and BBQ provided by the boat owner, plus a trip to some hot springs. This villa and area is very family friendly and safe.
