From the owner

Villa in Languedoc is a three storey house built in 1910, set in its own walled garden with parking in the peaceful village of Cruzy. It is a two minute walk away from the village centre where the market square, boulangerie, local café and museum are located.

The villa, which will comfortably accommodate 8 guests, has on the 2nd floor 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; on the 1st floor the large lounge, entrance hall, diningroom, fully equipped winter kitchen, toilet, T.V lounge; the ground floor has the utility room, garage, toilet, and fully equipped summer kitchen that gives access to the garden.

The garden has a saline10 x 5 meter private pool, that is child friendly, with an outdoor shower. The Bar-B-Q (with Pizza stone) is close enough to the house or fig trees, to choose which you will use for shade to eat under. Perhaps you might prefer to use the Mediterranean garden with the Olive and Apricot trees to eat under, the choice is yours to enjoy.

Cruzy is situated amongst the vineyards between Carcassonne and Montpellier, approximately 30 minutes from the Mediterranean coast with its beaches. Beziers and Narbonne are the nearest large towns around 30 minutes away by car. The famous and lovely Canal du Midi is nearby where you can enjoy a day on the Canal or cycle alongside it. The Languedoc typically enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year so Notre Maison is the ideal rural village retreat at any time of year. It’s the perfect place for families and small groups to enjoy a break in the South of France.

We have a Property Management Company that looks after the entire property and it’s contents. Should a problem occur, you will have their contact details. The pool is cleaned once a week. House keeping can be arranged on request. Bicycles can be hired, and the local bicycle hire shop in Capestang will deliver. There is a spare gas canister for the Bar-B-Q

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Kicki (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kicki (the owner) a message.

If Kicki (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
