A typical Welsh style cottage located in Mid Wales near to the famous Brecon Beacons. it is attached to the main house, with it's own front door/entrance and it has it's own patio.Fully equipped: bedroom with two single beds, bathroom/shower, kitchen, lounge with satellite TV and Free Wi-FiSet in beautiful rural surroundings and with a nearby river. The cottage is located on a small holding with sheep, chickens, ferret(very tame), two dogs and an ex racehorse. It is a short drive to the West coast of Wales.The Heart of Wales railway line runs from Shrewsbury to Swansea and vice versa, and is only a 5 minute drive away. Local towns include Llandovery, an old drovers town, which has lovely coffee shops where you can relax. Also nearby is the village of Myddfai, country home to the Prince of Wales.Linen is provided. If desirable laundry services are available at an extra cost. Pets are allowed after approval of the owners.

The Wales region

The cottage is in Carmarthenshire, which has been described as "The Garden of Wales". It includes beautiful places to visit like Aberglasney, Dinefwr and Gelli Aur.It boasts some of the most spectacular castles and historic sites and is the land of Arthurian legend plus the domain of the Welsh princes. It is a timeless inspiring landscape and it is certainly cast a spell over Dylan Thomas - Welsh poet -, who wrote about it's green rolling farm lands and silver shores. The nearest town is Llandovery - an old drover town - rich with history and situated on the slopes of the Upper Towy Valley and the Western Edge of the Brecon Beacons.The nearest village is Llanwrda, which a typical quaint Welsh village with a shop, a pub, a garage, playground and local church.

Crugybar

The cottage is in a beautiful rural area surrounded by woodland, hills, open pasture, wildlife in a tranquil typical Welsh setting. The river Dulais flows just past the main house and meanders down towards the village. It offers a wide range of activities such as hill walking, red kite watching, fishing, caving, horse riding / trekking, mountain climbing to name a few.
