From the owner

The Forge , is a large beautifully renovated village house , which as its name suggests used to be the village Forge.

The Medieval village of Salles is a pretty , relaxed and friendly place surrounded by lush woodland and flowery meadows , a delight!

Sit out in the sun on the terrace , lounge on the lawn or retire to the cool kitchen.

In the garden we have a tree house with a swing and a sandpit.

All our beds are comfy and our bathrooms luxurious!

Our new pool was a real hit with last summers guests!

    Great place to stay

    We had a great holiday and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and the pool lovely. The location is also great for exploring the area. We will hopefully be back.

    Found the venue beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Lovely peaceful village with good walks. Had a wonderful stay, would certainly recommend this place. This host very ameniable.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
