Description

This Lovely Lakeside Lodge is perfectly positioned directly next to and over looking the beautiful lake where you will find all round breath taking views and which you can fully appreciate and enjoy while relaxing on the spacious decked veranda with a glass wine or from the comfort of the open plan lounge.

Its tastefully furnished with all the home comforts you will need and more ...

The lodge is perfect for families wanting some quality time or couples who want to relax.

The white modern open plan kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar into the lounge and includes a washing machine, microwave, dish washer, fridge, oven, kettle, toaster and all the pots pans and utensils you will need.

Going from the kitchen through to the lounge you find two modern settees one of which is a bed settee, television dvd combi, dining table and chairs from here you get the full view of the lake through the patio doors so you can still enjoy the view in comfort.

There's a Family bathroom consisting of a bath/shower, sink vanity unit and toilet.

The master bedroom is first off the lounge and has a king size luxury bed, 2 bedside units, set of drawers and wardrobe so plenty of storage space.

The twin bedroom is next and has two single beds, drawers, wardrobe (with z bed in) and area to sit and do your make up.

A cupboard between the bedroom is filled with items such as a high chair, cot, ironing board, iron, clothes horse, games, dvds, tennis rackets, fishing nets, books and more.

We provide bedding for the z bed and bed settee if needed.

The decked veranda with table and chairs.

Reception is only a two minute walk away and the back is just across from the lodge so very handy, here you will find a shop, bar/restaurant, games room, arcade, soft play area, auditorium, dvd hire, and entertainment room where there is usually live entertainment for all ages.

The leisure centre (included in price) is just a stones throw away from the reception and this has a gym, Jacuzzi ,sauna, steam room, adult/kids pool .

If you fancy a pamper there is also a beautician on hand who is very reasonable and good.

Then if that's not enough you could always test your skills on the crazy golf course, or tennis court near by.

For the more adventurous just further down from the leisure centre about a 5 minute walk away there is a a water sports centre which hosts a variety of rides such as water skiing, banana boats ,sofa rides, disc rides, kayak hire, this is advisable to book in advance and is usually closed from Nov -march time.

There are fish in the lake such as bream, pike, trout, roach and eels which you are allowed to fish In allocated areas, you will need a fishing licence and to get a days licence from reception.

Getting around

Carnforth train station is ideal if you do not want to travel by car as it is situated in Carnforth which is about a mile away from Pine Lake. There's also 2 bus routes that come into pine lake every hour and travel to either Lancaster which is a historic city and good for shopping or to the lakes stopping at Kendal, Ambleside, Windermere, Keswick where there's some breathtaking scenery, just ask reception for the bus times . Other places to visit near by are Morecambe which is a ten min drive or even Blackpool where there is the pleasure beach (35 min drive).

“Pine Lakes, Lodge 41”

Great location, very close to the lake, lovely views front and back, also, very short distance to main reception and facilities. The lodge was spotless, very nice decor and facilities. This was the 3rd time my wife and I have stayed at Pine Lake, this lodge was by far the best. Good communication with Kathryn (owner) prior to our trip. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a girlie weekend here and it exceeded expectations. The lodge was clean and really well kept and the view onto the lake was just stunning. We are already looking to get booked again.

“Pine Lake.”

We had a great time at the log cabin at Pine Lake. It is well equipped and is set in lovely surroundings. There is also a gym, pool, sauna hot tub and steam room. I would go again.

We have just returned home from this lovely lodge and it's a proper home from home but without the stress. The lodge was clean and tidy and had everything you would want. The lodge is right on the lake side with the swans and ducks right outside the patio. Very peaceful and tranquil place to relax. We will definitely consider staying here again x

Stunning location, perfect weather to sit on the verandah watching the activities on the lake. Great amenities on site and plenty of places to visit without going too far.

This place was so cosy and warm, plenty of room and everything you needed was in this accommodation. I went when it was cold and really enjoyed it me and my granddaughter went swimming twice a day as we really loved the pool,it was lovely and warm and the steam room sauna and hot tub were just heaven. I would love to go back in the summer and see all the boats in the lake, sitting on the veranda glass of wine in my hand enjoying the wonderful view. My ten year old granddaughter cant wait to go back.

Had an amazing long weekend at No 41. Very spacious, clean and comfortable lodge. It has a perfect location overlooking the lake and is very peaceful. Have already recommended to friends and hope to return in the future!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

If Kathryn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
